aparksmusic Always beginning. Often perplexed. Drawn to beauty and the absurd. I play piano, write songs, and take pictures with my phone. Many doors. A bit odd 🌱

This record is out today. Jo-Yu Chen trio with Chris Tordini and Tommy Crane, plus Mark Turner as a guest on four tracks. I helped out on the production end of things. I’m rather fond of this music, particularly the improvised pieces “Slightly Ajar” and “Creepers” as well as the title track. Repost chenjoyu with get_repost ・・・ My new album is out today! One of the most remarkable books I’ve read in quite some time. “The Overstory” by Richard Powers.

I’ve posted this before (years ago) but the chord in measure three is still so good!
