I see a fair few couples build up debts on each other, ''I did X for you so now you owe me Y'' or ''I let (let?) him go to X so he has to do to Y now". Whilst this may often just be playful compromise - of which a relationship needs - I feel this constant exchange can often play out more like manipulative competition. As though you're trying to check-mate each other. I've always hated this. You're on the same team, stop trying to monetize each other's time, passions and love. At the very least, reset the slate clean as often as you can. Photos: Me & my one laurengreen.97

BTS shots of Me, Andrew, Cast and Crew on set of Dandilicious. A production I've been working on as one of its cinematographers. The FB trailer has hit 10k views in under 24 hours. It's been good to see Andrew's brainchild make quite the little splash in the local indie film scene. Looking forward to finishing the production and making a truly unique little film for its truly unique little niche. Indie-film is dead. Your whole life will be modified, shaped and influenced by your surroundings, and by the character of the people whom you let into your vortex. So choose wisely.

He took the words right out of my head. 'So there's another thing they say about movieswhich is that they're about escapism or something, right? getting away from your regular life and being in an exciting world for a little bit. I never felt that way about movies, I didn't like thatwhen I got to a movie it's not to get away from things, it's to go towards something. Like I hope that the filmmaker shows me something I can be interested in or will change my life or just some vision that then can live in my head after that.' —Jonathan Blow indiegamedev gamedesign narrativedesign anti-dogmatic jonathanblow thewitness indie quotes

Beautiful Sunset. Sunglasses are ND filters for the 'people on the go'

Caravan park, the oldschool getaway. Terrestrial television, bingo and frisbee.

My first Ballet, Mathew Bourne's 'Swan Lake'. Love the contemporary dance elements that were thrown in. Amazing turnout and such an overwhelming reception at the end, was euphoric hearing such timeless orchestral music at 'full blast' ;) who said the arts were dead. swan lake mathewbourne liverpoolempire arts tchaikovsky

LED Lighting tests with my beautiful 'one' this weekend <3 Experimenting with a technique Jeff Cronenweth appears to use; a white balanced key light opposing a room colour matching fill light/Rim.

Loved watching my gal (and everyone else involved) perform at the Rambert Installation. Mesmerising and complex choreography that fuses together an eclectic range of styles and influences; a performance worthy of the 360 degrees viewing space that an installation allows for. Impressive stuff rambertinstallation
