Wowzers! Heck, I'm not even mad, that's amazing!
𝗪𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗼𝗻 𝗥𝗲𝗱𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝗤𝗕 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗞𝗲𝗲𝗻𝘂𝗺 may have the opportunity to start the 2019 season; if that's the "case" than this will allow franchise QB Dwayne Haskins Jr to sit behind the seven-year veteran and progress at own his pace. Keenum is quite the journeyman in the NFL with brief stints in Houston, St. Louis, Los Angeles, Minnesota, Denver and now Washington.
Similar to how Patrick Mahomes was mentored by Alex Smith in Kansas City, the reigning MVP didn't get to start until the last game of his rookie year. Not saying that Haskins will have to follow suit but it will surely benefit the former Ohio State Buckeyes star to sit a few games to adjust to the pro level. Either way, we'll revisit the starting QB situation after the team's OTA and training camp (7/28 - 8/14) to see how the quarterback competition unfolds.
Not highly sold on any of the skill players in Washington at the moment with the exception of Derrius Guice, who I am very high on as a potential sleeper in 2019. News out of the Redskins' first day of OTAs deems promising for the "rookie" out of LSU, with expectations that Guice will be a full-go at training camp.
