Speaking of coffee mugs
Matt picked this out on one of our trips to dollywood when we went to visit my parents in Tennessee. He insists on buying a mug anywhere we visit. (It’sannoying to say the least. 🙄). He picked this out and I said something like, “Do it!”. Our guests over the years have joked on it. I do have to say that I’m unsure of what marketing was thinking when they decided to transpose Dolly along with someone’s name. I wonder if they made one with the name Jolene 🤔😬
Growing up in East Tennessee, I looked up to dollyparton instead of Barbie or any Princess. Like Dolly, I grew up poor in the mountains and with big dreams. From a distance, Dolly helped me to realize none of us are stuck. She just May be part of the reason I am where I am today. So,
I guess we’ll keep the mug.
