What a difference 8 weeks can make. Everyone is so obsessed with how much weight they have or haven’t lost. Or What size they’ve gotten to. But today I was reminded of the progress I have made in what I can do with my body. How far I can push it. The gains I have made in my mind. The strength and stamina I have gained. On day one I was digging my way out of depression, hadn’t worked out for over 2 months. Exhausted and desperate to get my life back. SureI’m on a weight loss journey and I’d love to get into a smaller sizebut there’s so much more than that. I could have beaten myself up when I stepped on the scale this morning and there was no change from last week. This is the frst thing I've eaten in almost 22 hours I know, right? Fasting is new to me and I have to say it's working wonders for me Been doing this for around 5-6 weeks now - yay me 😂 I feel more awake and alert in the morning and the hunger pains are nothing now compared to what they were like. If at all The me from 2 years ago ate 4-6 meals per day and rammed protein down my neck at alarming rates - I'd even eat before a 6am workout 🙄 Now though it's nice and simple.
