This is my current back size and conditioning. Considering my back workout is far from what it used to be & not truly anything special because of my herniated L5/S1 disc I have to say I’m lucky to have what I have. I’m happy with it but definitely not happy with my effort training back. I kinda feel like somewhat of a failure. I must do better! I will do better guys! SUFFER DAILY! So one thing we have to be careful about and nurture is our inner voice that has been crushed and bruised throughout our life from childhood and on, each and every single one of us has our bag of gunk that we need to work on to get back to being our true selves. Self esteem issues, no pride in oneself arises when you are not doing the things that are aligned with that spirit of yours. When you are all in with your inner voice, then and only then can you start manifesting the person you want to become. For me I give you all my raw outlook and challenges I go through, I am not here to show off about myself or glorify me. I am open about all my faults, because they do not have control over me. This is all to be an example of what being honest with yourself and hard work can do to change how you view yourself. I know for me, I am no use to anyone if I am not in that spirit, it takes hard fucking work to stay in it. I use physical challenges to make sure I am operating from that place of true self esteem and pride, you can use whatever makes you feel that. Just know it is hard fucking work. For me personally these warm ups are what helped me break a 90 degree angle during my squat and safely go lower. The feeling of not comfortably going lower comes from bad form or your body holding back because the movement you’re doing is unsafe.
