3 eme run cette semaine encore en forêt du côté de Talence exactement au stade de Thouars où se déroule le decastar . Le parcours de ce soir 2 x 5 km à peu près ,vu que je suis trompé sur la première boucle mais rattraper sur la deuxième et sur la fin du parcours obligé de le modifier cause des grilleras entourant l’événement. Sem 3 S1 : 45' en EF ▫️ Debut de semaine chargé donc pas le choix un run entre 2 rendez vous, mais au moment le plus chaud de la journée 12h30 🙈 ▫️ Mon tel m'indique 28°, la voiture 32° 🌡🌡 bref l'un ou l'autre il fait très chaud. Pas un nuage à l'horizon (pas de neige non plus green_gaye malgré l'altitude 😂😂) et pas un souffle d'air. Ca va être dur dur cette séance 🙈 ▫️ Je ne croise personne sur ce chemin qui habituellement est assez fréquenté. Tiens donc je ne vois pas quel autre idiot irait faire son footing en plein soleil sous cette chaleur. A l'origine j'avais prévu 1H en EF mais vraiment impossible de continuer, le but n'est pas de me blesser ni de faire des malaises hein 😰 ▫️ Je termine ma séance trempé. On dirait que je sors direct de la douche alors que je n ai qu'une hâte y aller justement 🤪 malgré la chaleur et la fatigue, la séance fut bonne et j'y ai qd même pris du plaisir mais a la fin de mon entrainement il m'est revenu à l'esprit une phrase de ma fille : "papa, qui c'est qui t'obliges à courir?" 😂 ▫️ Une excellente question, mais personne ne m'oblige à courir et je sais pourquoi je fais tout ça. Je le fais car ça me rend heureux, je le fais car j'aime ça, j'aime me retrouver en-tête à tête avec moi-même et repousser mes limites, me dépasser, me surpasser pour aller me chercher de plus en plus loin, de plus en plus longtemps. Le running m'a tant apporté qu'aujourd'hui je ne peux plus m'en passer. recoverygoals - eat, roll, soothe Trying to be good with my sessions and make sure I'm recovering well. For me that's natural foods - whole milk for protien and a PBJ wrap for protien, sugar and simple carbs. Not fancy, but natural and pretty damn cheap I've been using the pulseroll Peanut for a few months now and it's a flippin' marvel - it's like a foam roller on steroids. The vibrations are the actual 💣 My newest addition to my recovery toolkit is this awesome recovery oil from joov_muscle_rub (which I paid for, just for clarity!) - it's a completely natural, warming muscle rub. What I really like is how it's like a massage oil rather than the acrid paste you get with the big brand version. This also means its good on my sensitive skin - no burning sensation! I've been using it on any sore muscles or hot spots after training and it's really helped reduce soreness and tightness. What a find, would highly recommend What's your go to for recovery?

The nature of my work is that I sometimes block out large chunks of my time to see one client. In those cases, when I have a cancellation or no show, it can throw off my whole day. 😣 Today I thankfully got alerted about the change in plans before I left the house (though not before I got dressed, packed lunch, applied makeup, etc.) I decided to quickly change into my running gear and squeeze in my long run before heading to the office. I am usually too impatient or racked with momguilt to “waste time“ driving to a running route I just want to lace up and go! So this was a perfect chance to check out a highly recommended route halfway between home and work. This majestic dirt road runs along the river and is surrounded by preserved forest. It was a little muggy but oh so beautiful. Hallo liebe Lauffreunde! Was ist heute? Richtig, Mittwoch und Stadiontraining! Um ehrlich zu sein, ich mache das hauptsächlich wegen meines Freundes, der mich ursprünglich zur Leichtathletik gebracht hat. Leider sind für ihn die langen Läufe kein Anreiz. Er ist schon immer der Spezialist über die 400 Meter Seit ich die Langstrecken für mich entdeckt habe, ist unser Training logischerweise unterschiedlich. Im Stadion macht zwar auch jeder sein Ding, aber so sehen wir uns wenigstens regelmäßig. Und die eine oder andere Einheit machen wir auch zusammen So z. B. das Lauf-ABC. Wurde heute von mir im Schatten der Tribühne sehr ausgiebig durchgeführt. Es folgten drei Berganläufe über 140 m. Zunächst moderat in 40 sec., dann Steigerung auf 34 und den letzten in 30 sec. War bei der Hitze schon anstrengend Zum Schluss machten wir mal wieder gemeinsam zwei Diagonalläufe über den ganzen Sportplatz. Auf diese Art sich mal wieder auszupowern machte richtig Spaß. Die max. HF lag bei 170 S/min., die max Pace bei 3:20 Min/km Und das ganze Training im Stadion hat natürlich noch einen großen Vorteil: man gibt dem Körper einmal ganz andere Reize So kamen sogar noch 5,2 km für die Aktion bewegunghilft zusammen. Und hinterher gibt es ein ausgiebiges Dehnprogramm (siehe Foto) für jeden beanspruchten Muskel. Ich weiß, das ist ein Thema für sich, denn jeder hat andere Ansichten darüber. Aber meine Devise darüber lautet: vor dem Sport die Muskulatur gut Aufwärmen, nachher Dehnen Wünsche noch einen schönen Abend. This ones been to the vets today. She’s not been herself for a couple days. She’s not bouncy or happy and not playing with her toys. They think she’s possibly pulled a muscle and she’s been groaning 😢 She has a high temperature and is generally unwell. So she has to have a course of antibiotics and anti inflammatory too and if there’s no improvement she has to go back Friday for blood tests.
