Let’s talk about athletic performance
Training for a marathon through the hot humid Florida summer was probably not my best idea ever (*cough* Kelly 😜)
Any one who’s run in this weather knows it can feel like you’re trying to breathe pudding, the air is so thick 😝
So today I decided to try an experiment with my nitro brew 😁☕️ dose of happy coffee, and put the claims to the test
1️⃣ vascular dilation
2️⃣ increased blood flow
3️⃣ efficient oxygen delivery
In addition to the same boost in happy hormones, energy, and mental focus.
I 💩 you not I noticed a huge difference!
When was the last time you said an 11 mile run in the summer “felt pretty good!” 😂🙋🏻♀️
Yes, I still sweat buckets, but I didn’t feel like I was struggling to get my next breath even though the air was like soup.
AND now that I’m done, I’m not wiped out energy wise, sore, and ready for a nap (like usual), I hardly feel like I did anything!? 😳🤷🏻♀️
I’m the kind of person who has to FEEL this stuff for myself, but it does make sense
Better circulation means better oxygen delivery to your muscles, which means they get less fatigued, which means better performance!
You bet your buns I will be having a nitro brew before all my long runs from now on! 👏🏻💯
