I need help. I'm teaching out to my little challenge community for some serious help I seem to nail the meal plan and training all week, then some to the weekend I binge. Not just a treat or two A WHOLE DAY OF OVEREATING AND POOR CHOICES . Then I get disheartened by seeing absolutely zero changes. ZERO. No scale or non scale victories around here Week 4 is about to start and I really don't want to get half way through the challenge and have nothing to show for it. I also don't want to give up I need to see change. WEEK 3 WRAP UP 3 weeks down, 5 weeks to go🙋‍♀️ Here's my week in review. 💧WATER - I did so much better with my water intake this week. I felt super heavy and fluidy for the first few days but I think it was because of the week 2 binge and my body re-adjusting. It all seemed to sort itself out towards the end of the week though💧 . 🍽 MEAL PLAN 90% - I'm so glad I turned it around after my week 2 downfall. It was definitely more of a mind game than anything else and the more I was able to say no to sweets and treats the easier it got. Turns out that the hardest thing is starting again after a binge, so I guess the lesson it that pushing through is much easier than having to fix up your binge. But then on Saturday I fell off again, once I started I couldn't stop, it seems I can't stick past a week, back on it today 🍽 . 💯 F45 CLASSES - I trained at F45 every weekday. I took the weekend off and I kinda missed training. I think it's harder for me to stick to the meal plan when I'm not training I also did a double strength on Thursday because I managed to jag a week day off this week That's 6 classes! I felt a little more invested in my workouts this week and changed to training in the afternoons instead of the super early work wakeup and surprisingly, I think it helped me stay on track with food during the day 💯 . 💪 HEAVY LIFTING - I wasn't stoked about it this week for some reason, maybe the massive about if F45 classes I did haha but I got it done none the less. Knowing I can push through those times of fatigue is a good driving force for next time it happens, always feel better after a workout. I'm not sure I'll keep up with this if I keep the 6 or so F45 classes, I need some down time too 💪 . ❤ OTHER- Ok ok ok, I'm back from my dismal week 2. And I'm back with a vengeance. I was pretty close to throwing it all in and I got pretty up in my head about 'seeing no changes', I'll admit that I weigh myself regularly and get very upset and disheartened when the number stays the same Turns out you've got to stick to something for longer than a week to see changes Maybe next week? ❤

Day 6 of 47 on this journey to get abs by my vacation. Today I will have to find the cheat day demon that is the weekend. You are out doing things outside of your routine, socializing It's so easy to indulge. But I know from experience that a flat tummy is not the result of pancakes, nachos, chicken wings, beer. I have to resist the temptation to achieve my goal. I keep telling myself, "if you eat that, it's temporary joy. If you don't you'll feel joy and happiness from a flat stomach for days to come." Today's lunch, I've eaten this salad everyday this week. It works. Romaine lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes, green pepper, fried jalapeno pieces, 1/4 cup or so of spicy chicken patty ( breaded, but tasty) with a little light Italian dressing. I read an article about what to eat that led me to salad. I plan to eat a different salad for lunch each week. But the same salad all week because it's easier, cheaper and better for me. You should know before this I complained about salads because they take so long to eat and require so much chewing. Maybe you’ve heard of it before, maybe you haven’t. But here’s my side of the story: I said I would NEVER be a ‘workout at home kinda person’. I NEEDED a gym to sweat. Even though I wasn’t seeing any improvement, because I needed guidance that I didn’t want to pay $99/hour for (I’m sure personal trainers are worth it but I can think of a million other things to spend that kind of money on). Nothing is more defeating than putting in that effort and still being disappointed about how you feel. What was I doing wrong? All I knew FOR SURE was that I wasn’t seeing any results and that meant I needed to CHANGE👏🏻IT👏🏻UP.👏🏻 This surely couldn’t be worse than 45 minutes a day on the treadmill with nothing to show for it So, I stopped paying a monthly fee ($70, btw woof) simply for access to equipment and classes at times I couldn’t make. I leaned on my coach and her group to get me going at first. I needed that. I started working out for ~30 minutes a day on my own time, in my own space, at my own pace.
