REST DAYS Do you schedule them in?
Do you grind grind grind until ya die and are forced to take one before your body falls apart?
I LOVE training, it’s my life.
But sometimes it feels like absolute ASS and everything hurts and I feel about as strong as 3 year old
It’s not that I’m not dedicated - I still get my butt to the gym, I try and lift like a boss but My strength is down. My energy is down.
When I feel like this my priority is rest & an epic stroll up a hill, get outside and be kind to my body (I use to just grind but not these days) If you feel run down, sore, tired, weak, and you’re trying to grind through your workouts, you are doing your body a disservice. It’s okay to take an extra rest day, go lighter, or just take a few days to focus on whatever else you have going on!
You won't get fat or undo all your hard work. After all this should be a lifestyle right!? So many people are scared to rest for fear of losing progress, but if you actually give body and mind a rest when needed, you’ll be back to smashing it in no time💯
Listen to your body - if it’s telling you to take a break, take it!
