Pine clad van ceiling, van electrical items Trying to keep motivated to at least finish van front half ceiling. Since the initial 6mm insulation layer, I added a double layer of foil bubble wrap, then a double lot of 6mm polystyrene to the ceiling before I finished it with the pine cladding. I purposely built a frame around the pine cladding to leave a gap at the side to insert an LED light strip. The leisure battery is in the front half area of rear van, so I wanted to start testing out electrical items in place where possible and to start running cables through out the van rear before completing the rear half ceiling. Although in the video I show one cigarette lighter and one (double) USB socket, I know I'll need more. The USB and cigarette socket I purchased have a thick cable to handle 15amps. I thought this power could be useful for maybe more robust shower / water pump etc. vanbuild vanlife vanlifeuk campervan insulation campervanbuild vanlifepictures vanlifepics DIY diyelectrics campervandiy travels travel travelling traveluk diy vanceiling vanbuild vandiy vanelectrics slowestvanbuild leisurebattery vaninsulation dampvans leisure outdoors greatoutdoors vanframework pineclad pinecladding electrical electrics

They drink through a tube-like tongue called a proboscis. It uncoils to sip liquid food, and then coils up again into a spiral when the butterfly is not feeding. With a third of Britons expected to take a staycation this year and the Lonely Planet listing places in the UK in their top 10 places to visit, the increase of tourists to our National Parks need additional support to maintain the conservation so we can keep on enjoying the wonderful great outdoors in the UK. 20% of our profits from the online sales of our clothes is donated back to charities that work to maintain the conservation of our National Parks.

Malmaison Liverpool last week totally lived up to its hype. It was just as pretty and quirky and chic as I imagined. Prince's Dock location was easy enough to get to by foot from the station and from the city centre. A nice little upgrade got us a room with a riverside view. Also, it was probably the comfiest bed I have ever been in. Like ever! Castle Combe is a small village - the market square, St Andrew’s Church and the weaver’s cottages at Long Dean at By Brook are the main attractions, which you can see in the space of an hour. But if you like walking I highly recommend the 5-mile circular walk through the river valley and along the wooded hillside. It’s gentle walking but so incredibly lovely. That’s wild garlic along the sides of the path. . . One of the best beaches to go in wales, we stopped here for a wander before we left for home. The wanted to go in the sea so we walked down a hill (which didn’t seem so steep at first but ended up killing us on the way back!) and the had a paddle before the tide quickly came in. Such a beautiful beach although my mum will always remember the walk back up as hell 🤣🤣🤣 there’s lots of walks around the beaches and places to sit and take in the views. threecliffbay nationaltrust beaches wales uk traveluk travelblog travelblogging travelgirl goexplore cliffs adventureseekers familyday blog momentsofmine seekmoments doyoutravel walks

Powis Castle, Welshpool, Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 Seeing this reddish fortress you won’t be able to guess it’s long and tumultuous past. It was built by a Welsh Prince Gruffudd ap Gwenwynwyn in the 13th century. And since then, it’s been passed down and traded sometimes even to heiresses. In 1952, it was ultimately given to the National Trust. And before you go, did you notice that nostalgic white cart? ⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️ Photograph: ramalina

🧡 Summer moonrise at my favourite beach in North Wales the long sandy New Borough beach (also called Traeth Llanddwyn). In the picture you can see Llanddwyn Island's Twr Bach an early 19th century lighthouse, clouds of pink, evening sky and the blue sea; and the awesome silhouette of the Snowdonia range. Summer evenings mean more time at the beach even though it is cold n windy at times. Still worth it all 😊 And I have mentioned it in an earlier post that Llanddwyn means "the church of St. Dwynwen". She is the Welsh patron saint of lovers, making her the Welsh equivalent of St. Valentine llanddwyn island newboroughbeach snowdonia mountains sea natgeotravel travel northwales isleofanglesey visit_wales traveluk ukdiaries internationalstudent naturephotography nature walescoastalpath fullmoon healing livingabroad indiadiaries june 2019 observingnature summer potd astrography_ landscape travelhotelsmiles
