🆃🆁🆈 🅸🆃 🆃🆄🅴🆂🅳🅰🆈 Some of us have been struggling on how to run a facebook ad, however you should know there's a big difference between boosting a post and running an ad.
Running an ad (sponsored ad) requires a lot of input and thorough research. It's not something you can stand up and do. In boosting a post, you just select a picture and write a long text maybe or short depending on the message you are conveying. But when running an ad there's an image size that is required, as well as image resolution, your text must not exceed certain limits. You've to abide by the facebook policy, otherwise your ad won't be approved.
To run an ad across facebook and instagram there are three sets of Facebook ads you've to complete.
1. The Campaign itself: This is the objective for which your ad is set to achieve. For example, Do you want to get traffic, App installations, video views, lead generations (emails), post engagements.
2. The Adset: This is where you choose the demography, age, interests of your target 🎯 audience, whether the ad will be on mobile or desktop
3. The Creative: This is what people or your target audience will see, the image or video, the message you're passing across. It's here you decide if you're using a CTA (click to action) button e.g Shop Now, Send Message, Learn more etc
All you have to do is to take your time and plan your ad, do some research and most of all put yourself in your customers/ target audience shoe when doing so.
