Last night we realised we hadn’t seen Peaches out in his tank for a couple of days so we went to check on him and he was gone no where to be seen so we started pulling vivs out of the shelving unit to look behind it for him and suddenly I see a big yellow thing in the corner of my eye climbing the tapestry I use to cover my water dragons tank at night 🤨 we don’t know how long he was out for but it could be up to two days but the cheeky little dude is absolutely fine he didn’t even drop his tail he seems like he had a great time 🙄😂 will be taking extra precautions with Peaches from now on 😩 I still can’t believe how lucky we are that he was just climbing next to us 😓 peachesthegeck leopardgecko leopardgeckosofinstagram gecko geckosofinstagram geckolove reptiles reptilesofinstagram reptilelover reptilekeeper albinoleopardgecko murphyspatternless patternlessleopardgecko

✨☀️golden hour with tiki☀️✨ • • • This chonk hasn’t eaten since she shed. I’m not worried though as she’s otherwise healthy and her weight has been pretty stable, only dropping 1g over the last 2 months. • • leopardgecko leopardgeckos gecko geckos geckosofinstagram leopardgeckosofinstagram herp herps herpsofinstagram reptile reptiles lizard lizards reptilesofinstagram reptilelove pet pets petphotography petsofinstagram animal animals animalphotography leopardgeckomorph leopardgeckomorphs geckomorphs geckomorph albinoleopardgecko albinoleopardgeckos tremperalbino goldenhour

Chances are Gru will never quite be totally comfortable with bath time

every morning Gru throws a fit and scratches at his reflection until we take him out and let him have some time out of his enclosure

last year Gru had some diarrhea problems and wasn't eating, and the vet gave him antibiotics and recommended that we try to feed him softer, freshly shed worms since they're easier to digest. ever since then, Gru won't eat anything other than the softest of worms. his stomach is all better now, but if you offer him a regular superworm or a cricket he won't touch the thing.

even the last post about him shedding didn't quite capture all his beautiful, delicate little spots and stripes. they're hard to see unless the light hits them just the right way!

i missed mornings like this this winter was my first time caring for a brumating reptile and it's such a weird experience. even though i've known what brumation/hibernation is for as long as it can remember, i couldn't help but feel worried by never seeing or having any contact with gru. that being said, im relieved that he's healthy and back to his normal self.

Here's the surprise: A new male Crested Gecko! He's been at the pet store for a long time (enough that I feel like I've essentially watched him grow up to this size). After some research and taking the time to prep a nice tank we finally brought him home

Leopard gecko genetics is weird I just spent a lot of time trying to figure out what kind of morph Chicken Nugget is. As far as I can tell he's an icicle?? I mean, I'm not breeding him and he's lost a toe so he's not worth $400 anymore but it's still neat! His pattern has developed sooo cool too his tail actually has a slight purple color to it. leopardgecko leopardgeckosofinstagram albinoleopardgecko leopardgeckomorph

I held Scooby for the first time last night! I wasn’t planning on it but he had some stuck shed and ya gotta do what you gotta do. Had to handle him again his morning because he had one toe shed still stuck. He’s all fresh and bright now, here’s a couple pictures i managed to get before letting him go back to sleep. As you can see he’s gotten some new spots in this shed and his bands are starting to break up. • • • • • • leopardgecko leopardgeckos gecko geckos geckosofinstagram leopardgeckosofinstagram herp herps herpsofinstagram reptile reptiles lizard lizards reptilesofinstagram reptilelove pet pets petphotography petsofinstagram animal animals animalphotography leopardgeckomorph leopardgeckomorphs geckomorphs geckomorph albinoleopardgecko albinoleopardgeckos babyanimals babyleopardgecko
