I should probably do this more often, but I don't 😒. I usually like when other artists do it, I just forget to do it myself.
I recently switched paints and I gotta say, I couldn't be happier with 'pale pink' in regards to skin color. Im always kinda antsy about skin color and I've learned that although 'flesh yellow' is close to a skin tone, it just becomes to muddied up and blotchy if you aren't careful. Combining the two colors to differentiate areas and create shadows actually makes me happier than using flesh yellow and using plain black behind it. I know 0 about creating shadows and that's partly just become the reason i draw the way I domy "style" if you will 😎. I find my new paint helps me get a better version of what i have in my head 😊
