Yes I know, just doing a demonstration. I was out of training for a whole week. True story, the same day, a moment before my client was about to do his warm-up set, I mentioned to him you probably want to take your shoes off considering the shoes you have on right now. And what do you know, I did not follow my own advice. Story of my life. SMH 🤦🏻‍♂️ Nike shoes I was wearing was not flat and designed for walking, running, every day use and is built For comfortability and is designed with a slight incline allowing the person to feel like they are moving forward AWESOME& comfortable shoe but not good for Dead lifting needless to say. So we all know it’s true 😂😂 Comment below your favourite snack! It could be something that’s hurting your fat loss goals. One of the biggest ones I hear I was good last night, I had a couple handfuls of walnuts. My response: amazing, all around great snack, BUT how much? The nuts add up 😂. Lifting heavy and not seeing results (muscle gains)? - The simple reason is because your muscle-mind connection is poor. - The simple solution is to go back to the beginning. Try performing the movement/exercise without any weight and aim to engage the muscle group of interest as much as possible. Once you can do that, move up to a light weight and keep practicing till you have good control over the muscles. Then gradually move back up to the heavy weights using the same form/technique/motion pattern. - Improving muscle-mind connection can take weeks to months to years but the patience is very much worth it. Don’t rush the process and even if you feel the urge to lift heavy weights, don’t let them be the bulk of your training until your muscle-mind connection is at a good level. Or simply leave the heavy weights to your strength training phase, but not muscle building. - FACT: Lifting weights that are too heavy for a muscle group will incorporate secondary muscles groups, joints and bone strength, which will shift the tension away from the primary muscles group, thereby, resulting in zero to very slow progress. To me one of the key aspects of athleticism is the ability to generate power. Putting up big numbers in the weight room is awesome, and I’m an advocate of being as big and strong as you can be, but if we can’t convert that into increasing speed through movement it doesn’t improve our athletes. Bodybuilding is the only avenue I can think of where this is not applicable. If you’re trying to maintain athleticism, include explosive movements in your programs. Gdy pierwszy raz przyszłam na ten stadion byłam nikim. Każdego dnia zazdrościłam utalentowanym biegaczkom z kratą na brzuchu w markowych ciuchach. „Tak bardzo chciałabym chociaż w połowie taka być” Całe życie czułam się gorsza, ale tak bardzo pokochałam to miejsce, że postanowiłam zapracować na szacunek tutaj. Każdego dnia dawałam z siebie wszystko, choć nienawidziłam biegania. Gdy wygrałam pierwsze zawody, bieg przełajowy, zostając Mistrzynią Polski, pierwszy raz zobaczyłam dumę w oczach mojego trenera. Tego dnia postanowiłam, że tak ma być już ZAWSZE, że zrobię wszystko, by mógł się chwalić, że ma taką zawodniczkę. Pózniej odkryłam w swoim życiu trójbój.
