First impressions/ review:
Cosmobeauty Moist Foundation (35ml for $45)
Cosmobeauty is a Norwegian makeup brand. Yes, the price for this foundation is high, but if you are in Sweden, you can currently buy this for $9 (on lyko.se). It is supposed to be a light weight foundation suitable especially for dry skins due to its hydrating properties.
I have decided to try it today. I did not use a primer. One full coat gives you light coverage (I decided I would keep it at that and see how it performs on the skin). And you know, it performed very well. I applied it with my fingers and then set it lightly with powder. It looks very much like own skin and soft. Yes, it does slightly settle into the fine lines, but you can touch the foundation into smooth it out without ruining things.
However, there is a big "however", and that is the smell. The second ingredient in this product is paraffin, and the foundation smells exactly like that. My mum was assuring me that the smell goes away, but even after 3 hours of wear, it was still there, at which point I simply had to take it off. Please, Cosmobeauty, you cannot charge $45 and have that smell!
