So a few weeks ago, a good friend said, I want to travel more??! But how? So thanks to her, I started writing down travel tips! First up! Buying Tickets. Okay, so you see people hopping around to premiere destinations but can't figure out how? Well there are travel hacks for that. I host a podcast called Uprooted, and one of my guest, Garvin, found a round trip ticket to UAE for $200 from NYC! So yes, there are ways to do this. I’ll give you my best suggestions. There are so many other things to do. The first is to use Google Flights. It allows you to put your dates and your home location and you can leave the destination blank, and it searches the entire world. Then zoom in and out of the map and allow it to show you the prices for all the places so you can see what fits both your budget and location interests. I do this often for my breaks since I usually have about 5 weeks off every 2 months and I just allow the travel Gods who know my budget to guide me!
Secondly is Skyscanner. I love this app because you can search for dates throughout an entire month. So if you have flexible days, you can see the prices over a 30-day spread. Sometimes, you will find direct flights to some locations on Friday and Sundays but on Monday (when you want to leave) the airline doesn't fly direct so you spend longer in the sky. Lastly, is the app, hopper. Hopper is my friend. It will send you alerts daily for a location you are tracking with analytics about whether or not this is the best price for your destination and if you should book or wait. These apps have done a lot. It allows me to expand my destination list, save coins while doing so and practice flexibility in my travel ventures. traveler blackandabroad expat blackgirltravel blackgirlstraveltoo sistersandsuitcases browngirlstravel nomad blavitylife soultravel travelnoire blackgirltravelslay theblacktravelclub blacktraveljourney blacktravelfeed teacherabroad blogger roadto100countries nomadnesstraveltribe travelgram travelawesome melanintravel blacktravelfeed blacktravelgram blacktravelmovement traveltips skyscanner googleflights exploring
