Never be afraid to try new things. If your routine gets stale so do your results 💯 I haven’t jumped on a trampoline since I was a kid and I have NEVER done a trampoline workout ever. It took a second to get the hang of it but then it was game on! I was sweating like crazy and my heart rate was way up there 👆 the heart is the most important muscle in the body. Without it the rest are useless. It doesn’t matter how many deadlifts you do or how many body building competitions you compete in,all the squats lunges and bicep curls are useless if your ♥️ stops pumping. Strength training and cardio go hand in hand. You shouldn’t skip either. For example, let's say you spend 30-minutes running on the treadmill, burning 250 calories total during the exercise session. You've reaped all the calorie burning benefits during the session, cashing out immediately. - Weight Training: Our weight training may not burn as many calories in that same 30-minute window that running will, but it lays the foundation to burn more calories in the grand scheme (i.e higher ROI). Despite being very tired after a 7 hour shift lifeguarding outdoors (yes, this is my summer job), I still made it to the gym! • • • As a 18 year old student who doesn’t have a full time/ high paying job, I go to Planet Fitness. It is very affordable for everyone and has just about everything a person needs to get a good workout in! • • • Today I started off with the Eliptical since my legs still feel tight from leg day. I did this for 25 minutes at a low intensity so I could get things “loosened up” (and even burn some extra fat)! I then ran on the treadmill for 30 minutes at roughly 6.5mph. This intense cardio helps to burn carbs eaten throughout the day; with high intensity workouts, body sugars are elevated which causes muscles to rely on carbs as fuel. On Wednesday we workout.💪🏾 This is actually not true 😝 because for the JULY SweattoSwag 30 Days Challenge, we work out 5 days a week, 30 mins/day. Quick, sweaty, and effective. We kick off the July challenge last week with this killer leg workout and WOOO😅 we Hustled for those leg Muscles. Here is 1/2 of the workout. Save it and give it a try. Just finished today’s work out that nearly killed me! 😂 look at that sweat 😅😅😅 I did 5 burpees 10 step ups 5 jump squats 10 high kicks 5 plank jacks 10 butt kickers 15 minutes It didn’t seem like much when I wrote it out on my work out plan, but man it was extremely tough 😬😬 but of course felt so good!
