Nothing like a good little sweat sesh to get you over that midweek Hump. 🙌🏼 and today’s workout was perfect 👌🏼 . Low intensity cardio + ab routine, & it was just what the sweatdivas & I needed after 2 days of intense workouts. Who here has ever felt overwhelmed by ALL of the information on health and fitness? Drop a 🙋🏼‍♀️ if you have. 🤷🏼‍♀️ - It’s actually so heartbreaking to me when somebody says they want to start, they’re mentally ready to start. But they have no idea HOW or WHERE to start. One of my biggest issues with the fitness industry is that everybody wants to make it so complicated. (It’s how they make money 😑) - - So let me give you a few ideas to just get the ball rolling. - - 1️⃣start tracking your steps for the day. Most phones have this feature now, and all of your guys’ fancy watches do too. Try to get at minimum 9,000 steps in a day! 🚶🏽‍♂️ - 2️⃣Stretch before bed! Or in the morning. Or even in the shower. Or all the time. Get your body loose and prepared for movement! 🤸🏼‍♀️ - 3️⃣Trade your juice for flavored water. Trade your brownies for protein bars. Trade your Ben and Jerry’s for Halo Top. Trade your donuts for English muffins. You get the point. Make SMALL calorie cutting choices, they WILL ADD UP. 🍋 - 4️⃣take a multi-vitamin. And make sure the brand is 3rd party tested. Very important. ✅ - 5️⃣If you have a bad meal or a bad workout, don’t let it spill over for days. Cut your losses and get back on track ASAP. If your Friday night is hard on your body, don’t let that turn in to a trash weekend. - - - It’s not or nothing. You don’t have to change everything right this moment. Sweaty cardio and core circuit for today! Like, save, and let me know if you try this one I tried to include some modifications in the vid as well. I love cardio circuits like this bc you can do them just about anywhere! 👇 Set a timer for 20 minutes and do as many rounds as possible before it goes off! 1. Box jump burpee x5 (or do one or the other) 2. Lateral squat jumps x5 (or regular squats or jumps) 3. Explosive knee pushups x5 (or walk hands without the jump) 4. Ninja to air jack x5 (or prisoner get up to regular jack) 5. Swing through planks 👇 Set timer for 10 minutes and do as many rounds of abs before it goes off! Vid sped up to fit.
