Hero looks about how I feel while reading this book. I want it to be interesting, but the first half was very boring. We've got a bit more dynamism with the introduction of female characters, but I'm struggling to see the larger scope here. I'm waiting to find out what real consequences there might be for the kind of rebellion the characters are plotting, but so far everything is just really vague
qotd What pushed you to finish a book you're not entirely sold on?
If I either really want to know the ending or care about a character, I can usually get myself to the end. I'm also more likely to push through a book that was recommended to me or that I win/earn. But I'm not above DNFing at any point (literally gave up on Early Riser on page 300) if I can't bring myself to care 😂
