•You know you’re a runner when you see a sign on the highway telling you how many miles an exit is and you think “I could run that!”• I joked with my husband on Wednesday when we were going out to lunch that I could just run to the restaurant from here, 13 miles away. Yesterday I set a personal record for my second half marathon and I think you can tell by my smile that I felt pretty accomplished! I always admired people who could run but always told myself that I could never do that. But I am here telling YOU if you have that feeling of wanting to do something, it is possible. 🍮THIS LITTLE BEAUTY IS JUST THE PERFECT SIZE DESSERT AND SO DELICIOUS✨ • I love a little Mug Cake in the afternoons, for breakfast, at night before bed or for lunchwell I guess all day🤦🏼‍♀️ • Having this Milk Chocolate Peanut Butter Mug Cake doesn’t blow my macros either. Adding protein to my little cake actually helps keep me MUSCLE BUILDING AND FAT BURNING😍! I used my Milk Chocolate 1stphorm Level-1 Protein and made it in my microwave in less than a minute. Making a cake in the microwave sounds crazy I know, but it is true. • I used 1/4 cup + 1 tbsp. of 30 calorie Unsweetened Almond Milk, 1/4 tsp. baking powder, 1 tbsp. Cocoa Powder, 2 tbsp. Chocolate PB Fit Powder, 1 tbsp. + 1 tsp. Sugar Free Fat Free Vanilla Pudding & 1 scoop of Milk Chocolate Level-1 Protein. Start with Almond Milk then add the remaining ingredients. Whisk or stir together very well in a microwave safe mug. I cook mine for 25 seconds then give it a good stir and cook it for another 20ish seconds. This makes a very moist mug cake and my microwave isn’t crazy strong. If your microwave is strong you might do 23-25 then 18. If I want it more cake like I do around 25 seconds the second time. Topping it with 2 tbsp. of Hershey’s Milk Chocolate Whipped Topping adds 10 calories, 1 gram of fat & 1 gram of carbohydrate. The Lemon Waffle Cookie adds 23 calories, 1 gram of fat & a little over 3 grams of carbs-Worth it in my book💯. I sometimes use 1 tbsp. of PB Fit Chocolate and 1 tbsp. of hot water to make some additional chocolate peanut butter for the top. This adds 25 calories, 2 grams of protein, 3 grams of carbs and 0.75 grams of fat. • My Mug Cake with a Lemon Waffle Cookie and strawberry has 319 calories, 8.9 grams of fat, 29.2 grams of carbs & 30.2 grams of protein. • If you would like to check out my link in my BIO for the wonderful flavors of Level-1 for your Mug Cakes please do. I had an awesome sundayfunday☀️ brunch with family today (the highlight was talking to my niece about mentorship and about believing in yourself as she prepares for a few big tests in high school). Two things popped into my mind as I walked into the house 1. It seemed like a good day for a personalrecord on my peloton and 2. Wouldn’t it be amazing if my fave instructor allymisslove saw my posts one day? I randomly my phone and completely fam-girled that Ally Love had liked one of my posts! I’m still adjusting to putting my words out in the world and it was such a cool affirmation. Needless to say, I crushed my PR on a hip hop ride and knocked out a strength workout with jsimsfit for good measure. I haven’t done one of these in a while, and that’s because I hadn’t really seen much change in the scale. Recently I had a stomach bug and the only food that sat well with my stomach was saltines, bread, cup of noodles, and bananas. Thankfully it was only one day. Honestly though I think it’s what my body needed to reset and get the weight loss going again. Right now I am down 91.6lbs and I am so close to 1derland and it super exciting. Look what happened today🙌 Finally got my back spin to shoulder stand for the first time for my fitnessuniverse routine I still need to work on the speed and grace, but like most things in life, every day I've been aiming for progress, not perfection.
