This Saturday was my rest day 🙌🏼 But only when it comes to workouts. I still did my groceries, cleaned our apartment, did laundry and we also had to do some maintenance work for our WaterRower. But I can’t wait to start rowing on a daily basis 💪🏼😁 We also cooked Mexican for lunch and my dinner was leftovers meaning ai had to clean my fridge 🙈 Some fried chicken breast chunks, roasted sweet potato and champignons, hard boiled egg, avocado and tomato sprinkled with cress. Here is how I know a diet is working. I start to see distinct muscle separation through the shoulders and arms, and veins become more pronounced After much trial and error, I've realized that I'm no longer able to use restrictive diets (like Keto or low-fat) to achieve better body composition. I've lost my motivation to do so So, here’s a tracking trick I use now that allows me to eat whatever I want (within reason), and lose body fat or maintain condition First, I estimate the number of calories I expend per hour. Let’s say I calculate my BMR plus any other activity to be 2400 calories per day. That equals 100 calories per hour Next, I track my calories but don’t count protein. Protein is for repair and growth, not accessible energy. I only count fat and carbs as energy For example, I had beef, eggs, and a glass of OJ for breakfast - about 600 calories. But, 240 of those were from protein - they don’t count. The rest came from fat and carbs - 360 calories. I round up to 400 and don’t eat again for 4 hours The concept: If I use up 100 calories per hour, and eat 400, then I should have 4 hours of energy in the tank before I need to eat again. If I eat 700 calories of carrot cake, I've got 7 hours available. I do this all day, and also count overnight hours (always calculating when my next meal should be) Then, I fast for 24 hours once or twice a week to ensure an overall carbon deficit This method lets me control my food intake without restricting choices. I don't care if my burn rate is exactly 100 calories per hour or not. In other words, I don't care about physiological accuracy. I care about real-world results. Jesteśmy tym co jemy, jeśli chce się wyglądać jak petarda całe życie to dieta musi stać się nowym sposobem żywienia na zawsze. Trening tylko wykonywany regularnie przyniesie efekty💪😉 . Czy warto? No rejczel! Czy dacie radę? Na to pytanie odpowiedzcie sobie sami🤫 🇺🇸:What if you stay alone with delicious chocolate? 😍🍫 And how on the lazy day no one will stand over you and say: do more squats?🏋️‍♂️ . You can not have a whip over yourself all your life. In the end, you have to free yourself and start to control your choices alone.🤷‍♀️ Keeping your diet is damn hard. And no one should say it's different. Short-term diet is easier - I will lose weight until summer, new year new me, and then what? Return to old habits? We are what we eat, if you want to look like a firecracker all your life this diet must become a new way of feeding forever. Also only regular training will be effective💪😉 . Is it worth it? Of course! Can you manage?
