Ok I have not been eating that great for a few weeks Iv been eating junk🙄 alot of itAnd I noticed a big difference in my energy levels and my overall health I jus was not in the mood to train at all. We know how important our diet is whilst training but I think diet is a major part of ur life. It's a sunglasses kinda a day for me. I'm so not feeling high energy today. I'm actually super low on energy and oh so bloated (thank you TOM) and just not feeling so motivated. So many people wonder how I can stick to my regimen even when I am not really feeling like it. It comes down to discipline and knowing that if I push myself at certain points the rest of the day will go smoother. So I wanted to stay in bed this morning. That little voice in my head was telling me "it's ok to miss your workout today, you can skip one day". And yes, i could skip a day, but my discipline might waver and one day might become 4 days Instead, I jumped out of bed and got in a 20 minute HIIT workout. Now 20 minutes may not seem like much, but its better than nothing! And I am proud that I did it even though I really didn't want to. But now it's 3pm, I have more energy than I would have if I hadn't exercised and I am being more mindful about meals too. And that is because I made that effort to workout this morning. It's a slow process. But it's progress. And any progress is good progress.

Everybody always asks me how I still get so sore even though I have been in the weight room trying to get bigger and stronger since the 8th grade The simple explanation - I’m continually getting better Once you have been working on your strength, speed, fitness, and overall health for as long as I have there is A LOT you learn. Building a wealth of experience through numerous trial and errors, as well as learning the body of REALLY helps you understand how to take this “machine” of a body and take it to the max with each workout. The more you learn and grow, the more capable you become at taking on new difficulties as you work on yourself. So if you’re just starting out, or even if you have been at this for the past 6 months to a year - stop thinking about when this is going to get “easier” and start shifting that mindset to getting a little better every single day!
