Well, have you seen the frankendrinkchallenge 🧟♂️🧟♀️ by chenaholic and highproofpreacher going on? Idea is to get two cocktails and transform them into one. I ll be honest, at first i thought it sounds like some fuss, plus i had something else in mind, but doing something completely different, it just hit me.
Thought became drink, this cute abomination (i know this post is already full of paradoxes 🤪) and well, it started easy, equal parts, keep the chartreuse, i mean chartreuse on everything and remove it from a last word hybrid? nope, not today. Lime became orange juice, maraschino became pomegranate liqueur, big question was: gin or tequila? Both support the flavors so i just made em both! And the winner is you ve seen it already, tequila. So, being tequila, a mist of mezcal didnt hurt 😁 Used this totally defiled wannabe cherry just for its bright color along with the partially transparent dehydrated wheel, to kinda express the radiant red color you get to see when you actually watch a sunrise 🌅. Cocktail is clearly towards the sweet side, while still getting that characteristic agave bite from the tequila. Mist gave that smoke initially but towards the middle it got lost. And since it d be fun to nominate some people, well homebartenderuk scottishmixology theacademydrinks , have fun 😄
