• What is METCON? 🤔 Stands for Metabolic Conditioning - in simple terms, you get your heart rate up and a good sweat on 💦 • How is the group organised? You will complete different exercises on “stations” and then move on just like in a HIIT or circuits style class. The timing is usually based on completing supersets/EMOMS/AMRAPS etc. • How is it different to HIIT? Fathers Day takes on a whole new meaning at HEAT! Yesterday’s class was the second part of an interesting format that allows for each person to work as hard as they can in the set parameters. What a calorie burn in surprise sun! No rain at all. Humid, hot, and sweaty for sure. Some participants even had to have me as a workout partner at certain points. Ouch! Sorry about that. This group works hard and they aren’t wimps! Get into group fitness with us Thursdays and Sundays! 2 classes per week to keep you on point and on beach- ready shape.
