140lbs ago I could have never rode this life sized stuffed Zoomey animal much less with emma but today we hopped on and zoomed around just as quick if not faster (mommy held the button allllll the way down) then some small . Nutrition is a huge part of your success on a fitness journey. I follow a cleanish diet (ice cream & rice are included, thank goodness 😂) but it does require me to be prepared throughout the week. Which means sometimes you gotta go to the grocery store on a Saturday night because that’s the only free time that you have 🤪🛒 I could have easily put off going the grocery store tonight because I was out all day & exhausted. But tomorrow is going to be a busy day for us and it needed to get it done before Monday rolls around. It’s not always going to be easy, but it’s worth it! wildsaturdaynight

diastasisrecti won’t let me be great. During pregnancy my abdominal muscles were stretched to a point they could not recover from. My muscles are still separated 12 months later causing the dreaded “mommy pooch” I’ll never have my flat pre pregnancy belly but that’s ok. I’m loving this body of mine and all of its “flaws” as you should yours 😊 so often we’re bombard with these perfect body images, I am NOT one of them nor do I want anyone to think I am. Not everyone has the same fitness goals, but everyone for sure should pay attention to what they put in their body. You only have one so why destroy it? You keep your house clean so why not keep your body clean. That’s the best way to feel better from the inside out, mentally and physically!

You're not stuck. You can be in a completely different place than you are right now a year from now. You can create new habits and crush goals. You are worthy of that. I want to be the best example I can be for my daughter. She's always watching me. Here's to another year of self-care and pushing myself to new levels.
If everyone knew how to squat and did it consistently only 3x per week, nobody would ever need help standing up. Backs would not curve. Shoulders would not slump forward. Chests would not cave in. People would sit and stand and walk without assistance. And what a wonderful world it would be!
