When I got my nutrition plan & portion control containers I definitely thought I’d still be hungry at the end of the day but everyday I’m still surprised at how full and satisfied I feel. 🙌🏻 . Eating healthy is more than just counting your calories, if that were the case you could eat a couple bags of chips a day and be healthy. It’s about eating the right foods When your getting the nutrients your body is craving you’ll finally feel amazing! This took me a long time to realize. It’s time for real talk. I went to the gym the other night for the first time in what felt like a really, really long time. 🌟 After my workout challenge ended, I struggled with maintaining accountability more than I anticipated. I was slipping back into old habits and old routines and letting things I totally could control get in the way of keeping the healthy lifestyle I was building! When my roommate invited me to go the gym, I was honestly worried. Worried about how out of shape I had gotten since not working out. Worried that I wouldn’t be able to do the moves as easy. Worried I wouldn’t be able to life the same weights as before. I didn’t want to be discouraged, so I almost didn’t go 🌟 And you know what happened? I realized that not much had actually changed and I was able to crush through one of my workouts just like before! Maybe I went a little bit slower, but I still felt STRONG. 🌟 I was avoiding the gym for no reason. I thought it would be discouraging, but it was actually empowering and motivating to keep trying despite a small hiatus! So I’ve been so incredibly happy lately! Not only am I seeing changes with the scale but I’m also able to wear smaller clothes! I noticed the other day that I kept pulling my pants up and so I’ve started wearing a belt. And 4 days ago I ordered size 16 jeans as a goal to be able to wear one day. They came in the mail today, looked SO SMALL compared to me and I thought “oh hell no, these will definitely not fit me anytime soon.” Like I said, I thought that day would be MONTHS from now but outta no where I decided “you know what, let’s just see where I’m at.” Sooo I slipped them on and they fit THEY. ACTUALLY. FIT. I’ve been standing here in shock it took me a couple minutes to realize that my body is indeed actually smaller. C'est pour cette raison que les personnes faisant trop de cardio se retrouve en mode "skinny fat" = mince et graisseuse car leur masse musculaire ne s'est pas assez développée. ~ ✔Tournez vous donc vers la musculation 💪 Et pour celles et ceux qui tiennent à leur cardio, faites en 1 à 2 fois par semaine, entre 40' et 1h, cela sera suffisant. Ensuite allez pousser de la fonte 🏋️‍♂️ N'oubliez pas que la musculation fait perdre aussi des calories ! 📈 ~ ❌Deuxième erreur, une sous alimentation.
