REFOCUS 🧠 YOUR GOALS
A little while back, someone who really changed my perspective on life encouraged me to create my own vision board. So I took her advice and I did. But every time I looked at it, I wasn’t getting hooked on it. I felt disconnected.
I had these materialistic images of the things I wanted in the future & it got me thinking yes, I want those things but having those items does not equal my deepest desire. All those materialistic things are just a bonus of the outcome I’m really trying to achieve.
Yesterday, I set aside some time to really refocus on my goals and I redid my vision board because it wasn’t matching up to my true desires in life. I wrote things down that were the most IMPORTANT to ME! & where I want to see myself a few months & years from now.
One of my main goals is to wake up earlier because ya girl LUVS ❤️ her sleep! Bbbbbbut my body keeps telling me no but I really think I’m just letting my body do what it wants and I have to tell my mind to stuck it up buttercup. This isn’t rainbows & sunshine all of the time. We gotta do thing we don’t wanna do! & for me, that’s waking this beautiful body & mind up earlier and earlier every day! Let’s face it, 24 hours is just not enough time for single day to focus on our goals!
Sometimes goals don’t have to be big (it’s a good thing if you have some of those too though!). Sometimes they can be smaller goals like waking up earlier because it leads to the bigger outcome, the result - your bigger goal. We all know what we need to do, it’s just the matter of taking action to get it done.
