Salad "freshens without enfeebling and fortifies without irritating." Jean-Anthelme Brillat-Savarin (1755-1826) Couscous Salad Καλοκαίρι = σαλάτες 🥗 που πρέπει να γίνονται γρήγορα γιατί ποιος αντέχει τα πολλά μαγειρέματα τέτοιες ζέστες μέρες? Αυτή η σαλάτα κουσκούς είναι αγαπημένη, ok ολες είναι αγαπημένες για μένα🥰 Συνήθως φτιάχνω κάποια ποσότητα και την κρατάω στο ψυγείο 2-3 μέρες και την χρησιμοποιώ ως γεύμα (είναι πλήρες γεύμα και μόνη της )ή ως συνοδευτικό σε κρέας ή ψάρι. Υλικά για 4 μερίδες 250 γρ. κουσκούς (σύμφωνα με τις οδηγίες του κατασκευαστή) 250 γρ. ντοματίνια κομμένα στη μέση 3 κούπες σπανάκι πλυμένο και κομμένο 1/4 κούπας μαιντανό ή φρέσκο κόλιανδρο 1/4 κούπας άνηθο 2 αγγούρια κομμένα σε κύβους 1 μικρό ξερό κρεμμύδι 2 φρέσκα κρεμμυδάκια Ντρέσινγκ 2 κ.σ. χυμό λεμονιού 2 κ.γλ. ξύσμα λεμονιού 1/4 κούπας ελαιόλαδο 1 κ,γλ. μουστάρδα 1κ.γλ.μέλι(προαιρετικό) 1 σκόρδο ψιλοκομμένο αλάτι και πιπέρι Ετοιμάζουμε το κουσκούς σύμφωνα με τις οδηγίες της συσκευασίας το αφήνουμε στην άκρη να κρυώσει, κόβουμε όλα τα λαχανικά και τα βάζουμε σε ένα μεγάλο μπολ και τα ανακατεύουμε. Ετοιμάζουμε το ντρέσινγκ. In Vancouver on a short vacation & visited Phnom Penh Restaurant, a local favorite. We ordered the butter beef, dry egg noodles, stew beef egg noodles, and Chinese broccoli. The butter beef was incredibly flavorful and tender - definitely recommend this dish. I loved the beef in the stew; it was incredibly tender and rich. However, I think both of the noodle dishes were missing some flavor/spice!

Spinach, feta and ricotta gnocchi. See recipe in bio I hadn’t realised how comparatively low in calories ricotta was. You do really need to flavour it up though. My husband isn’t the biggest fan of the texture - which to be fair is a bit grainy. I, however, love it - my new fav thing It’s surprising how a whole bag of spinach can pretty much wilt down in to nothing! When I was a kid - I hated the stuff and my parents used to make me sit at the table until my plate was clean. I can remember my longest time was 45 minutes, squashing it, mushing it but not putting it in to my mouth It was from frozen so had that slightly slimy texture - now I only get the fresh stuff - too many painful memories otherwise Spinach and ricotta are best friends though, without a doubt add a bit of potato gnocchi and I am all over it This recipe requires minimal cooking and can be whipped up in around 5 minutes- quicker than waiting for a takeaway Top tip 1 remember to rinse the spinach or each mouthful will contain grit 2 use a cheese grater to grate half the feta. Crumble the other half in!

EMPANADAS DE DULCE DE LECHE INGREDIENTES 4 Platanos Maduros (Macho) 1 Raja de Canela 2 Cucharadas de Azúcar 1 Lata de Dulce de Leche 2 tazas de Aceite Vegetal 1 taza de Azúcar 1 cucharada de Canela Molida 6 Tazas de Agua PROCEDIMIENTO 1. Poner a hervir las 6 tazas de agua 2. Remover las orillas de los plátanos 3. Cortar los plátanos en pedazos medianos 4. Agregar los pedazos de plátano al agua hirviendo 5. Enseguida agregue la raja de canela, y las 2 cucharadas de azúcar 6. Hervir por 15 minutos 7. Una vez de los plátanos estén en su punto remover el agua 8. Corte los pedazos por la mitad para retirar el centro 9. Remover la cascara 10. Colocar los plátanos en un recipiente y machacarlos con un tenedor hasta obtener una pasta lisa 11. Hacer bolitas usando aproximadamente 2 cucharadas de la pasta de plátano 12. Colocar la bolita en la palma de la mano y aplanar para formar un disco de ½ cm de espesor 13.Coloque una cucharadita de dulce de leche en el centro del disco 14. Formar una bolita ovalada 15. Freír en aceite caliente hasta que tomen un color dorado 16. Mezclar la taza de azúcar y la cucharada de canela molida, revolcar las bolitas en esta mezcla 17. Today the spotlight is on my love and biggest culinary inspiration by far, Chef Joao. This dish was cooked 6 years ago in September 2012. It is an original dish of his own creation that he called “Ras Salmon Papaya.” The first picture is the finished product and the second picture is a process shot. As you see in the second picture, he baked the salmon INSIDE the papaya on low heat for a few hours, then he used the papaya as a serving dish adding rice and fries for the final presentation. How is that for creative plating guys? Even though all these years have passed I still remember this dish clearly and can you tell that it is the most delicious salmon dish I have had in my life. You can feel the passion that he has for cooking in every dish that he makes.
