This piece is prompted by a phenomenal and uniquely creative poem I read today by a.penart that he shared a bit ago regarding people wearing masks and relationships suffering from them. As I've often intimated, while there are times masks make total sense, when masks in relationships are worn too long, or always even, those relationships will never strengthen and will often suffer considerably because they are based on the weakest components of an individual, the mask, rather than based on their inner being. Moreover, the relationships you DO develop with people of all walks of life are usually people that will see you as the mask, and not for the full spectrum of individuality you are underneath. That poem I read really hit home for many reasons, and its worthy of serious given how most people wear masks for so long that they become the mask and sacrifice their inner nature in the process, which should never happen in my opinion. Does this make sense? Let me know your thoughts below 👇 Hope you all have a wonderful evening 🌌🖤🌌
