It’s been a hot min since I’ve done a before and after post or even shared my journey. For all those new faces, this is where It all started. Out of shape, irritable, poor mental and physical health, and no joy in life; that was every waking moment for me up until April of 2017(photo on the left). ⁣ ⁣ I took my first step into the gym that May and the rest has been history. I’ve never looked back, never doubted, and never folded on my goals to change my life. On the two year mark of making this change, I'd like to stop and reflect on all that I’ve learned. There are so many “truth nuggets” you can get out of the gym/getting health, but there is only one truth that matters. Failure is the most effective motivator in life. Uncharted territory! First video is my last working set for bench today. 315x3 clean and easy! Most I’ve ever done is 315x2. Felt solid Honestly feel I could have squeezed out a 4th and an assisted 5th but I didn’t want to push to failure today. Working up to this I did 275x5 and 295x4. Feeling good about this numbers. Especially because 275 is feeling light as a feather these days 😁💪🏻. Great session today.
