Don't focus on stupid shit.
There are certain things our over-weight or obese clients need to focus and hone in on and things that they absolutely don't (yet or possibly ever)
Things that truly matter:
1. A calorie deficit (arbitrary and almost trendy these days, but still true)
Things that absolutely don't matter yet (possibly ever)
1. Elimination of any foods.
This is so tricky. So often people feel like they're doing something bad if they have a burger or a bar, but you cannot think in terms of good and bad foods, just good or bad diets.
Show me what your next meal after looks like. I think that's way more of an accurate assessment.
For the foreseeable future, your monthly supplement bill will be €0.
3. Food timing.
Recreational lifters at 12% bodyfat barely heed this. You won't either (plus you're not 12% bf anyway)
Unless you drive your Mondeo the way Lewis Hamiltion drives his F1 car???
4. Best time to exercise.
It's always good to move when you're over-weight. Focus more on DAILY movement.
5. Fear surrounding Saturday night out.
Choice is yours and yours alone. I suggest enjoying the vino. Skip the take-away. It really is that simple.

6. The best meal plan
It's the one you create yourself. Trust me on this. I can guide you. If you're favourite meal is steak and spuds, awesome. I'm just here to make sure you're not drowning the fuckers in olive oil and reving up the calarie count.
7. "Healthy" foods.
I love an aul serving of fruit and veg, me. Hard to deny they are healthy.
But don't suck the balls of an avocado and coconut oil jar and wonder why you hate your diet, and then order a load of take-away anyway, ya silly goose!
8. Try moderate not eliminate
What will the 4th slice of pizza satisfy that the first three didn't?
Those foods aren't designed to fill you up mindfully. Be aware.
9. Mindful eating.
Be aware of your bloody habits. How many times a day to you go to the fridge out of boredom?
