Well you SHOULD (can you tell I’m on a beet kick lately🤷🏼♀️)😍👏🏻 here’s why
Beets have always had a special place in my heart, these wonderul root veggies are high in fiber, minerals, help increase your oxygen uptake (which can help improve cardiovascular endurance and performance), help support the liver in detoxification, help decrease inflammation, can help improve digestive health, can help lower blood pressure, can help improve cognitive function (by improving blood flow to the frontal lobe of the brain), are a great source of Vitamin C, they are great for your skin and they taste absolutely amazing 😍🙏🏻
I love to sneak them in wherever I can (roasted and added to salads, eaten raw, blended up, juiced you name it😍) so for lunch today I blended up this smoothie with the addition of 1 small sliced raw beet added in 🙌🏻 if you are new to adding in beets maybe just do 1/2 of one as they have a strong flavour + it gives the smoothie a gorgeous purple colour 💕😍

Smoothie deets—> 2 frozen bananas + 1 cup frozen cherries + 1 scoop vegan vanilla protein + 1 small raw beet + 1/2 tsp vanilla extract + 1 tbsp almond butter + coconut water to blend 👌🏻👌🏻 seriously amazing combo💦
