Ambas as frequências de treino de 3 e 6 vezes por semana podem ser eficazes para o aumento da força muscular em homens treinados. Embora treinar 6 vezes por semana posso resultar em hipertrofia, parece que o treinamento 3 vezes por semana em volume equivalente pode, em alguns casos, ser ainda mais eficazes ! Interval workout 1 today and a lift later tonight. Going hard with only 26 days until vacation! We have 6 dif. interval workouts like the one in the pic. We are doing 3 a week - Tue, Thur, Sat. Also doing 2 HIIT treadmill run sessions - Wed and Fri. Have planned 1 long cardio session on Sunday. Happy Tuesday I feel like I haven’t been to my gym in FOREVER between taking several days off and then lately I’ve been doing more running and hot yoga💦 but you know what they say, ”absence makes the heart grow fonder” 💁🏼‍♀️ Today I reallyyy crushed my workout— some HIIT, arms, and cycling to finish it off. The check in challenge question for this day’s workout was basically about what made you start exercising, or what makes you continue? For me, it started in 2014, and being tired of feeling tired - being thin but feeling winded after a few flights of stairs A trainer got me going, and I developed the discipline to continue and learned proper lifting form, etc. Then I quit the gym and discovered Fitness Blender workouts on youtube. I have come a long way since then, and when I changed up my eating habits to be more in line with whole food plant based eating, I really started to live my best life. People think I am 20 years younger than I am, I have a lot more energy than before, and I am getting healthier with age instead of going the other way! I am happier, too - with more energy comes more desire to experience more in life. It’s all good, and even if I miss a day or two (or heck, once I missed up to two weeks when relatives were in town!), I never worry because I know I will get back on track and never be in danger of throwing in the towel with exercise so long as my body lets me continue, I will. :-)

Pero muchas otras veces, CREEMOS que no tenemos tiempo ⏰ Resulta que solemos estimar un tiempo mucho mayor al que realmente necesitamos para hacer un entrenamiento completo 🧖🏽‍♀️Yo amo estar un buen rato, pero la verdad es que no necesitamos estar dos horas en el gimnasio 👩🏽‍🔬No hay sólo una forma de hacer ejercicios. No hay un tiempo fijo e inflexible que DEBAS cubrir para ver resultados Pensar en esto nada más nos suma estrés, y terminamos no yendo al gimnasio y ahogando las penas en Nutella 🧟‍♀️ . 🧠Lo que sí hay, son trucos para optimizar y aprovechar los pequeños espacios que tenemos cuando la agenda está complicada: . 👩🏽‍💻Organización: saber qué vas a hacer. Planificar una rutina, por corta y sencilla que sea, nos ayuda a ir directo al grano. Esto incluye tener un plan B: si no puedes hacer un ejercicio (por espacio, porque lo que necesitas está ocupado, etc) ten una alternativa 🧚🏽‍♀️No perder el tiempo. Conversar, ver el celular o hacer cualquier otra actividad entre una serie y otra quita tiempo valioso. Scrollear en ig puede significar dos series de squats y miren… scrollear no quema grasa 🏋🏽‍♀️HIIT. Hacer una rutina que combine peso, resistencia y cardio ayuda a hacer un entrenamiento mucho más eficiente y completo en poco tiempo 🎁 Tomen este HIIT que hice en 20 minutos, para piernas y glúteos. I honestly wanted to be a comedian, don’t ask me how I would have stood up in front of all those people, but that’s truly what I wanted to be. ✖️When I went to college everything changed and I challenged myself to become the person I wanted to be. My mom said I had finally come out of my shell. ✖️Now, 11 years later, my job revolves around being into front of large groups, making them laugh and entertaining them. ✖️And if you know me now, you are probably saying to yourself, YUP are so L O U D! March 2017. Crossfit Nipomo. As much as I love to venture out and explore new things, I am also humble enough to call it quits when I see something is not working for me. I love Crossfit. I was involved with it for 3 years. However, my low back disc degeneration has gotten worse over the past five years and in the span of three months, my discs would slip with any bending and lifting and I’d be on my back for 7-10 days. So in April of 2017, I stopped. I miss it a lot! I need to start incorporating some sort of resistance training while I’m on the road but haven’t quite figured it out yet. Well 19.3 was a real leg burner. My glutes lol. I'll do it again on Sunday hopefully with fresher legs. All and all it was pretty good. I pushed myself to the limit and out of my comfort zone. All you can ask of your self is to do your best and leave it on the mat. Until.
