I have uploaded the full 11min mix of the audio over the visuals for the exhibition. Should you care to listen its available on my mixcloud page Www.mixcloud.com/djlauralove. It's meant to be confusing, overwhelming and drag up emotions. All things media are able to do. It is repetitive but it builds and becomes muddied and muddied, as if all the news is playing at the same time in your headwhich it kind of is. primalscream neworder exhibition victims fineart medialies margaretthatcher hillsboroughdisaster polltaxriots minersstrike orgreavejustice falklands IRA NorthernIreland politicalart orgreavejustice jeremydeller peterkennardx labour_history PoliticalArt banksy coldwarsteve nickwalker_art obeygiant tehos

My exhibition space is ready for next week♥️ What is truth? An exhibition based on th 80s and some 90s. Where many terrible events happened and we're still fighting for the truth. The media plays a huge part in our subconscious mind as a society and culture. Learning to read between the lines is key for our future. The audio is made up of layers from the events, which I've cut and edited to create confusion and a sense of being overwhelmed. It plays for 11 minutes and you can hear different parts jump out as it plays through. Building up to become more and more intimidating. The bombardment we receive every day via media is relentless. TV , radio and newspapers- unless you switch off. They have the power to fill our heads with anything they want. screenprinting monoprinting drawing photoshop illustrator collage margaretthatcher IRA NorthernIreland gerryadams hillsboroughdisaster falklands politicalart artstudent 80s 90s polltaxriots minersstrike orgreavejustice mediacircus medialies history torymess foundationdiploma artdegree fineart neworder primalscream onetalbot artwingism barbarakruger45 banksy kennardpeter nickwalker_art jamiereidart tehosart jeremydeller jeremycorbyn primalscreamofficial neworderofficial jimcarrey_artgallery galleriesnow tate fineart.coverage42 fine.art.artists graphicdesigncommunity ilovescreenprinting orgreavetruthandjustice

My exhibition space is ready for next week♥️ What is truth? An exhibition based on th 80s and 90s ***** We are living in a time when the truth is constantly merged with lies that are meant to confuse and divide us. Often it takes many years for truth to finally emerge, as with Hillsborough and the media and the terrible things they published about Liverpool supporters. Almost 30 years later, with still no criminal prosecutions taking place for the loss of 96 football fans, are we any closer to justice? The Miners that were arrested and injured at Orgreave, are still fighting for justice 35 years later. Not only were they physically beaten, they were morally beaten as a society. Job losses created poverty and hard working class families really struggled, and still do today, the North of the UK having high levels of poverty, Food Banks and low income families. As a culture and society, we are bombarded daily from news on the TV and radio, magazines and newspapers with certain information being “cherry picked” to feed to the masses. One day a story is on every page - the next it’s gone. This is my focus. What is the truth? Why do we idolise people who do bad things? Or were they bad? Why do we think either way? What has swayed us? What is the other side of the story? screenprinting monoprinting drawing photoshop illustrator collage margaretthatcher IRA NorthernIreland gerryadams hillsboroughdisaster falklands politicalart artstudent 80s 90s polltaxriots minersstrike orgreavejustice mediacircus medialies history torymess foundationdiploma artdegree fineart neworder primalscream onetalbot artwingism barbarakruger45 banksy kennardpeter nickwalker_art jamiereidart tehosart jeremydeller jeremycorbyn primalscreamofficial neworderofficial jimcarrey_artgallery galleriesnow tate fineart.coverage42 fine.art.artists graphicdesigncommunity ilovescreenprinting orgreavetruthandjustice wefail_

The TV got some more paint today. The text has become more muddy and not as clear as it was, which is what I wanted. We receive continuous bombardment of media that's designed to confuse us. Hard to tell what's truth or lies. There is 30 years between now and these events so the truth is and will keep coming out. Why are people still fighting the system for justice? Will it ever end? What a place. There aren't many football stadiums you go to and instantly love, especially when it's not the team you support. However, this was one of them for me. Steeped in history, intimidating, a proper football stadium. These had to go black and white 🙌🏻

There are few things more honoured in British football than the sport’s oldest knock out competition. In 2016, Arsene Wenger defiantly stated: “The FA Cup is something special. You cannot imagine how big it is abroad. In England, you cannot be a big club and say we don’t care about the FA Cup.” For the 2017/18 season, from the money-hoarding giants of the Premier League to the almost-Sunday- league-quality minnows, 737 clubs entered the ultimate last-man-standing contest. It is a competition of heritage and tradition, adored by most and anticipated by all. Although, the FA Cup is no longer revered like it once was, despite the ex-Arsenal manager’s kind words. Contrary to many fans’ beliefs, it was not the BBC’s over- usage of the phrase ‘magic of the Cup’ which actually killed the magic, but something much simpler. The deadly phenomena of crowd surges: Large crowds are a fact of urban life. They offer a unique communion with strangers willing to transcend limits of physical closeness. They can also devolve into suffocating frenzies Crowds become unstable as they grow more dense. Often the change from stability to chaos is so imperceptible that those involved don’t know what’s happening until it’s too late At around 7 people per sq. meter a crowd starts to behave more like a fluid that can exceed 1,000 pounds of force. Shock waves can literally lift people out of their shoes and deposit them 10 or more feet away involuntary Most die standing while others die in a heap forced to the ground. Compressional asphyxia is typically the main cause of death. Trampling is secondary and less likely Crowd disasters happen all over the world. In developing countries they are more likely to occur at religious events. Among industrialized nations surges often happen at sporting events or concerts Media coverage overwhelmingly blames the victims of crowd collapse. “Stampedes” depict mob violence and savage survivalism. However, research shows that people express altruistic tendencies, even risking their own lives more often than the reverse Especially in the Western world, commercial entities and event organizers will defend their own interests and are rarely held accountable. While those in the crowd are publicly shamed even when proper management tools could have prevented loss of life Experts offer the following tips: 1) always preplan escape routes and know exits. 2) Don’t panic and don’t scream wasting precious oxygen. 3) Keep pace with the movement and don’t stop or kneel to pick up lost items. 4) Keep a “boxer-like” stance with hands to your chest. 5) Move in a zig-zag pattern rather than a straight line into the periphery. 6) Cover your head if you fall.

I finished last But I don’t care, because I actually crossed the finish line! I’m in absolute agony now but it was totally worth it! Amazing what you can do when you put your mind to it. Got a chance to go up to Anfield stadium where Liverpool plays. The Church pub down the street is an excellent use of old church property. The Three Graces on the Liverpool waterfront are an impressive part of the city's skyline. The drum looking thing is a monument for the 96 people that died at the Hillsborough disaster. Right of the train Liverpool has lots to see in the way of monuments, museums, galleries etc. liverpoolfc anfield thethreegraces hillsboroughdisaster liverpool

Hillsborough I think David Dukinfield is a scape goat for the event. I think LRAD was used to cause fear and panic to cause a stampede. I think Peter Fahy and daughters caused GMP CHIEF Murder Mike Todd for his job. So finnigan could go to Lancashire Police and Stephenson to the Met Pol and Peter Fahy to GMP as Chiefs. I believe those named except Dukinfield are New World Order illuminati with special ops Lancashire and SOCA causing deaths and blemishing character of Dukinfield. Repost o_dibre ( get_repost) ・・・ 🏟🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿⚽️📚✊🏾 hillsborough hillsboroughdisaster neverforgotten 96 liverpoolfc reeds liverpool96 justiceforthe96

+ APRIL 15, 1989 + . I have felt just so awful for the families, parents, siblings, schoolmates, colleagues, fellow attendees - everyone who was related to, dated, worked with, or knew, - of one of The96 people who died at Hillsborough 30 years ago To lose someone, or more than one, in such a preventable situation, in such a senseless, needless, abrupt way, on what was just an an ordinary day And then, to know that the ones killed are blamed for their own deaths which were the fault of police and duckenfield due to deliberate lies and slander And to fight against that, and survive it all I legitimately cannot comprehend that. Nor do I want to imagine it Not the best article on the tragedy, but it links directly to the image https:novaramedia.com/2019/04/15/youll-never-walk-alone-remembering-hillsborough-30-years-on JusticeForThe96 People Individuals Justice YoullNeverWalkAlone Sports Hillsborough Sheffield Liverpool NottinghamForest FACup 1989 football soccer footballmatch soccergame footballgame England UnitedKingdom UK tragedy humancrush overcapacity Injustice April15 April15th1989 HillsboroughDisaster April15th InMemoriam

Today is the 30th anniversary of the hillsboroughdisaster in sheffield england in 1989. 96 people were crushed to death or suffocated when a part of the stadium became overfull and there was no outlet for people to escape. The ensuing taylorreport brought many changes to British football stadia including the elimination of standing terraces and perimeter fencing. The report also identified many failures of the local police, including their attempts to blame the fans for causing the incident. The disaster capped a dark decade for English football, as the heyseldisaster in 1985 had led to a 5 year ban of UK clubs from European competition and the bradfordstadiumdisaster that same year had highlighted the antiquated and dangerous condition of many English football stadia.

30 years ago today Liverpool FC fans traveled away and there was a fatal crash of people during an FA Cup semi-final football match between Liverpool and Nottingham Forest at Hillsborough Stadium in Sheffield, England. With 96 fatalities and 766 injuries, it remains the worst disaster in British sporting history. R.I.P to the 96 victims, you may be gone but you will never be forgotten! Repost mosalah Today marks the 30th anniversary of the Hillsborough disaster, one of the worst tragedies and miscarriages of justice in sporting history. 96 football supporters travelled to Sheffield to watch a football match, hoping their beloved Liverpool would beat Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup semi final. They never came home, crushed to death, unlawfully. YNWA JFT96 hillsboroughdisaster

This day 30 years ago 96 liverpool fans went to see there team play in the FA cup semi final against Nottingham forest in sheffield. But they never returned alive. A memory goes back as far as I can remember as kid watching the game live as it happened. Very sad scenes it was. Finally the families of the 96 victims have got back some justice after proving police neglegence. No matter what the pain of the victim's famillies will never go away.
