I just wanted to take a minute to show some appreciation this week. A couple of people have absolutely made my week and seriously helped me to regain my focus!
Someone commented on how they like that I skipped the gym and went for a burger and wine on Tuesday. That it shows that I’m “real” and that even though I’ve got a fitness/gym obsession, I still have treats! This is exactly why I post this stuff I’d rather be maintaining a healthy lifestyle than be on a diet – if I can’t allow myself the occasional treat then what’s the point in living?! 🤷🏽♀️ It also makes this whole “healthy living” thing more sustainable for me! If I allow myself treats (and either plan for them just make up for them afterwards) then I’m less likely to go on a binge! (Although this still happens sometimes!) Life is for living – and since I maintain a healthy lifestyle for the most part – I don’t have to feel guilty about the odd treat!
And speaking of treats… today we are getting free fish and chips for lunch courtesy of work! 🙌 The last time I had this I felt disgusting afterwards 🤢 But I’m still gonna eat them though – I mean who says no to free chips?! 🙅🏽♀️ Plus I have a networking event tonight (prosecco and nibbles 😋🍾) and a busy weekend planned and won’t be back in the gym until Sunday 🙈 But its okay cos I put a good couple of hours in last night before rehearsal, and I plan to work my ass off on Sunday 💪 Plus I’ll be starting back with PT next week too and boniconfident will absolutely merk me if I ask him to (which I always do!👊) - and possibly the re-start the Keto Challenge since I didn’t get to complete it last time Happy Pre-Friday peeps!
