y’all how true is this??? it’s the first of the year or month or week and we commit to a fresh start. we cut sugar, we commit to the gym every day, we go all in. now how many times has that actually worked?
never. because one step off the wagon and the entire thing blows up and we’re back to our own habits. we think it’s either everything, we’re a healthy, fit, successful superhuman, or there’s no point in trying.
this isn’t how it’s supposed to be. instead of all or nothing, try something. you had an awful day that veered far off the road to your goals, do one thing, even a small thing, that reinforces that goal in your day. eat sugar, but maybe a little less. go for a walk instead of killing your body at the gym again. watch some netflix, but commit to getting work done at the same time.
it’s not all or nothing. success doesn’t require perfection, just effort.
