That first facial expression really sums it up😂 Before yesterday, I’ve never even attempted a 5k 😳😬🙈 so jumping into a FULL marathon was quite an experience, gulp🤭! This morning I just wasn't feeling it. It wasn't one of those like I don't want to work out kind of things. It was honestly a lack of sleep and being up from Midnight until almost 5 am. Along with that getting in just a little under five hours of sleep. ••• This isn't one of those oh boo hoo kind of posts but more of an encouragement to you that even when you're tired, you're not feeling it because you're dragging your feet and your eyelids are not opening and all you want to do is sit on the couch and watch one of your favorite movies or TV shows we still need to move our bodies. I can't express how different I felt after just one 30 minute workout. ••• It wasn't like I all of a sudden felt better but I did feel motivated to continue on with my day and do house chores, work, take care of errands and other work that may not have been done today because of the lack of energy I initially started with. It's amazing what we can do when we give ourselves grace in the moment so that we become stronger not just physically but also emotionally toward ourselves and mentally every single day. ••• If I can just remind you of one more thing it is to take care of yourself so that you can always take care of those around you. ••• Don't give up on yourself. You totally got this

A shorter work out today and a lower cal burn BUT FOR A PURPOSE! I was doing so so soooo much cardio with no results - well weight wise. I’ve improved stamina and my breathing and can now hold a jog so I’m happy with this. But I really need to shift the weight around my belly! So today was a 25 min jog followed by reps of weighted dumbbell squats, forward back lunges, glute bridges, bicycle twists, mountain climbers and side planks followed by a comprehensive stretch out. Now my thighs are thanking me every time I try to sit. For the next month I’m dropping down my cardio (but keeping my hard earned jog) and focusing on core and weights training. In a month I’ll revise and figure out where to go next. Wednesday night - Saturday I was very ill. Hallo liebeslauftagebuch Heute konnte ich mich endlich wieder motivieren zum Laufen. Gestern Abend habe ich einen Trainingsplan für die nächsten zwei Wochen erstellt und mir ein neues Ziel gesetzt. Heute standen 5km in 25min auf dem Plan. Die Zeiten schauen super aus, doch es wurde ein Intervalltraining daraus. Nach jedem Kilometer brauchte ich 2 Minuten Pause. Trotzdem bin ich stolz auf diese Leistung.
