Daenerys and his incessant search for the "Home":
In the books, the proof of Daenerys's attachment to a home is the mysterious red door home. This house is the only home reference she has and the place where she would always go to escape difficult situations. This door has never been mentioned in the series because in the books it only exists in the thoughts and memories of Daenerys, but the series left some clues of this search of her for "Home" and always emphasized it, it is not known where this home really is. She does not feel happy in the series, did she search for a throne? She went to Meereen, did she search the house? She went to Dragonstone, and at no time did she say that she felt happy, daario tells her that she was not made for the throne, and she doubts, remembering that she gave up everything in her vision in the house of the undying, for what ? To get her childrens back, and this is yet another clue that daenerys does not want a home but a family(or the home is a family), at 8x01, she told Jon, "We could stay here for a thousand years without anyone finding us" a feeling of declared escape. Why Daenerys is never happy with anything? Because even sitting on a throne, she does not have the "Home
" and we conclude that she may never find the "home" but she can build a new one, a family, with Jon and her son (who she probably can have YES) and their dragoons and not on top of the Iron Throne.
