Tag a friend Follow getfitleg_s Video by minibutmighty_ This workout consists of many amazing single leg exercises (obv. except the first😜) • It is always wise to take a month off from bilateral (aka double leg/ heavy compound training) and to focus on single leg (unilateral) training. • I did this 2 months ago and my strength increased like CRAZY. • I took nearly 4 months off from heavy squatting and maintained my squat strength without even trying. • • BENEFITS OF SINGLE LEG TRAINING: 1️⃣Corrects any muscle imbalances 2️⃣Builds strength in your bilateral movements (aka building strength in single leg work transfers to double leg work) 3️⃣Builds your legs and glutes w/ less spine load (Good for those with back pain) • DON’T THINK THIS IS AN EASY WORKOUT.☝🏼 • Single leg work can still be pretty taxing, and if you train legs 3+ times /week, you don’t want to train with too much volume. • • ✖️(2x12-15 heavy) Cable Front Squats (mainly hits quads) ✖️(2x 12-15) Cable Reverse Lunges (quads & glutes) ✖️(2x10) Single Leg Box Squat (quads, hammies, & glutes) ✖️(2x8-10) Single Leg Gliding Curl (KILLER exercise for your hammies. Use a higher box/platform for more resistance)! ✖️(2x8-10) Feet Elevated Bulgarian Split Squats (I notice the bosu ball helps me target my 🍑 more)!

From nurse 7:30-5 Monday through Friday, to workout attire, to mama 24/7 to EXHAUSTED. Doing it ALL by myself with no family around is quite exhausting I love my job, I love to workout and I absolutely love my son with everything in me but truth is, I AM TIRED. People ask how I manage to do it all and my response is always- who will if you don’t? Goals won’t reach themselves and my son needs the best version of me always.
