Swapped my mid morning honey filled chai to a lemon and ginger tea this morning 💕 to all of the beautiful girlies who attended our all girl event on the weekend at evexia.wellbeing you will remember our conversation regarding our choices surrounding meals and often our inability to recount these. We see this quite often in regards to the liquids we consume : sugary drinks, alcohol and habitual coffees and teas. We also commonly see a trend of always consuming ‘something’ throughout the day - snacking, making tea, grabbing a coffee, sucking on a lolly, making another meal. These habits are generally mindless, a lot of the time we don’t place much emphasis or thought into them and before we know it, the day is over and we have continually eaten for it’s entire duration.
Giving our digestive system a little rest between meals is paramount for digestive health 💕 and not continually spiking our blood sugar between meals with treats, sugary teas and milky coffees is also something to be considered. So girlies, Im doing it with you - this swap. I miss my sticky chai already ☺️☕️ but I’m soooo interested to see how I might feel, giving this a go for a few days 😊
