By luck and purest of the chances,
A Mother gave me birth,
By picking up a numbered embryo,
At dawn of the robotic World.
I am her ,
She cared to raise,
Protecting, holding strong,
although her Heart contains no blood,
She seems deploying Love!
I felt attachement in return,
and dully listened to her words,
despite my inner voice,
in desperate hope,
to find the purpose of this World.
I feared and trembled in that search,
But followed, leaped towards
the light present itself
in tunnels deep of rabbit hole.
At last an opportunity arose,
another Being came in force,
convincing me to run away,
return in the organic World.
I found myself completely torn,
between the ashes of a lie,
my Mother taught me for a while,
and that of promised Earth
awaiting me outside these walls,
beneath the Sky, beside the Sea,
I dreamed away so much to see.
It would've been an easy choice,
If not for news of Brother's birth,
that Mother granted to the Home,
I've known long to call my own.
I grasped the Sky and breathed in Sea,
I've met a dogbut felt to flee.
This time so surely and determined,
returned to castle of the droids,
I screamed to see my Mother
with thaughts of killing Her!
To stop my Brother being burnt,
discarded, like so many Souls!
I hold the gun and thightly Brother to my chest.
My Mother sighs to put her quick to rest,
by shooting straight, but first she says:
"You're still my Daughter!" taking stance,
prepares to die: "Will You not long and look for Me my ?"
To which I'm pressing firmly trigger,
to bullet fast with tears:
"Not now or ever!" shot came out,
Her eyes have dimmed and mine,
have turned away,
and in my arms,
I've held my Brother,
I came to senses singing lullaby,
the one I heard so many times,
from one that called herself:
"I am Mother" and in that glance,
I felt I am One too in taking stand.
