Low Back Pain, Arched/Rounded lie back when squatting, Knees Bend in when squatting? This is my typical stretching and muscle activation on leg days to combat those issues. Glute activation and strengthening to help keep your pelvis neutral. Medial gastrocnemius (inner calves) and posterior tibialis activation to combat flattening of feet and arch support. Stretching of the lats, hip flexors and rotator cuff strengthening. Any questions or requests comment or message me. personaltraining correctiveexercise nasm progress legday

This hurts to admit, but sometimes I feel SO self-conscious of my upper body muscle 😭 Don’t get me wrong. I love my muscles. But man, I hear men say “ew that’s disgusting” when they see a girl with muscle & it feels like a kick in the gut. You have muscles, why can’t I?!😭 But then I tell myself, they’re probs just intimidated. They’re probs a little butt hurt that some girl has larger muscles than they do. Some girl can stay in line with their nutrition better than they can. I tell myself that the only opinion I’m worried about is mine. And my boyfriend loves my dedication and hard work that I put into loving myself enough to work on myself.(he’s truly the best) And that’s all that matters to me. So 🖕🏽the haters that are intimidated by any strong, muscular, woman. Imma stay flexin whether you support it or not. • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • fit fitness flex workout selflove bodylove arms biceps shoulder fitfam fitlifestyle muscle juststrong strongwomen nasm nasmcpt iamnasmcpt confidence balanceforbetter loveyourself weightloss fitnessjourney lift

The biggest successful trait about Fitness is showing up for your session and stop dreaming up excuses to not come . You’re disparaging yourself and we only get one shot at this in life . As I’ve said on the past make your goals realistic and not cartoonish to start . Realistic goals and consistency is keyand you’ll be amazed at what you can accomplish. Setbacks are inevitable but your ability to “dust yourself off and get back up” will go a looooong ways in the end 💪🏻. In the long run you can indeed get to the promise land 👌🏻 Believe in the process, show up , be consistent, and believe In yourself most importantly 🙌🏻. manginifitness nasm fitnessmotivation believe noexcuses instafit manofsteel mactivitynh fitness fitnessinspiration eastrock newhaven fitnesslife instafit instagram keepthefaith believeintheprocess fitnessworld

“PERSONAL TRAINING IS A BUSINESS!“ I can’t stress this enough to you. Over the past 21 years as a personal trainer, I’ve found that not many PT’s will talk about the business side of our industry. They run away from talking about money or marketing. “Sales“ scares them to death The science side on the other hand is always talked about, because this is a personal trainer’s passion. They are comfortable with that conversation. That’s why so many people get into personal training. They want to help people with their health and fitness goals, but there’s one problem. Nobody will hire them, because not enough of the right people know who they are If you’re having trouble with the business side, I would love to help you. I will fix your problems. I will make sure you stay in business and grow your business, so you can continue doing what you love. Never hesitate to reach out to me. Facebook message, DM, or email me today. 💪❤️🙏😁 mark personaltrainingbiz.com

This is what I’ll be eating for the next 2 weeks on a 2000-2200 calorie diet. No more than 45% carbs. I separated the foods proteins on the left, carbs more on the right side. There’s a few small things like spinach and low fat cheese missing but other than that, this is it. 85 bucks. •Tilapia •Ground Turkey •Greek Yogurt •Eggs •Chicken Filets •Whey Protein •Steamable Sweet Potatoe •Bananas and Oranges •Clif Bars •Oatmeal •Rice •Wheat Bread •Almond Milk You can’t OutTrain a Bad diet. Alright friends/ let’s talk about CARBS and dispel some carb myths ❌ Myth 1: Increase in carbs results in increased fat gain ✅ TRUTH: Eating in a calorie surplus over a consistent period of time results in fat gain- so you can gain fat from any macronutrient if it takes your calories over your maintenance ❌ Myth 2: Eating donuts or sugary foods will hinder fat loss ✅ Truth: You can include your favorite treats and as long as you eat in a caloric deficit, you’ll lose fat - in fact, I ENCOURAGE eating these foods ESPECIALLY when working on fat loss - it keeps it more sustainable AND it teaches you moderation so you can learn to eat in a way you can stick with forever ❌ Myth 3: White potatoes and white rice are unhealthy choices and should be avoided ✅ Truth: From a calorie perspective, both white potatoes and white rice are typically lower in cals than brown rice and sweet potatoes- from a health perspective, white and sweet potatoes both have positive nutritional qualities and are equally “healthy” if you were to rate them side by side. Brown rice has more fiber (and a small amount more minerals) than white rice, but once again, both have vitamins and many find they prefer the taste (and quicker prep time) of white rice - if your overall calories are in check, then choose what you enjoy most, and be sure you are getting plenty of fiber from other whole grains, fruits, and veggies ❌ Myth 4: Fruits are full of sugar are not a good choice for a fat loss diet or healthy living ✅ Truth: Fruits are full of fiber, water, and micronutrients, and are typically very calorie friendly = ideal to include in a fat loss diet and for overall health ➡️ Bottom line: CARBS in all its forms have an important role in your daily eating (they are your body’s source for energy!) - even when working on fat loss. A drop in carbs may result in lower scale weight at first because you’ll drop water and glycogen levels- but unless your overall calories aren’t placing you in a deficit for a sustained amount of time, this won’t result in fat loss. If you don’t enjoy carbs then you may prefer a lower carb way of eating - but recognize thats a preference and choice, not a diet necessity

Added this little gem into my workout rotation today and let me tell you, all parts of me were tested. My balance, core and strength were all recruited to make it happen 🔥. Fought hard throughout this exercise to maintain my form. Always good to step outside of your comfort zone and see what happens 3 sets of 6 on each leg. Don’t mind the little guy in the background trying out new trxtraining moves😂. He’s a ninja in the making.

I treated myself to one last day of treats on this graduation weekend. I’m so proud of what I accomplished and decided a steak and spicy mashed sweet potatoes with jalapeños and garlic were the way to close out this weekend before the Game of Thrones series finale 😭 I let the steak marinate in the fridge for awhile using a safflower oil, brown sugar, red chile, s/p and garlic powder. The sweet tators were boiled then mashed with 1/4 cup half n half, 4 tbsp melted butter, 2 minced fresh jalapeños and s/p. Collectively, so damn tasty with a Dragons Milk bourbon barrel aged stout on the side Now time to go mentally prepare myself for the last Game of Thrones episode ever. "I did it" is an understatement. Now If i were to say me and my babies did it that would be more honest. For some this may have been an easy thing to obtain but I worked my booty off for it. My two year old patiently waited as I studied and my two month old kicked it in my lap most days. I have wanted to help change lives in whatever positive way I can and this is only my start of stepping stones! You know how I celebrated? A bad ass workout on the incline! 💪

💥TRANSFORMATION 💥 This did not come from waiting on the “right time” or making excuses. This didn’t come from going on a crazy diet, or taking weight loss supplements or flat tummy teas. This came from my heart and soul. It came from hard work, dedication, grit, and being on my mental & physical grind DAILY. At the end of the day, I owe this transformation to me. I owe this to saying no to old habits, and welcoming new, HEALTHY ones. I owe this to positive affirmations, and loving myself THROUGH IT ALL, not just when I reached my ideal “perfect body” (which doesn’t actually exist). I owe this to believing that I’m worth it. I AM WORTH taking care of my body. I AM WORTH the hustle. I am SO worth it. All of it and so are you. 🌱💜 - nasm nasmcertified nasmcpt personaltrainer personaltraining healthyhustle nasmfns fns fairbanks northpole alaska fitness wellness health nutrition fitnessmotivation fit weightloss

People always ask me what I've done to lose weight. Then they are astonished to find out I did it by eating right and exercising. As if being on a fad diet is more acceptable. I lost weight by doing I the right way. Making sustainable, long term changes that will help me stay healthy in the long run. My weightloss probably would have happened faster if I didnt make mistakes in food choices. But hey, I'm only human. I cant always say no to cookies and m&ms I'm to the point where I want to start shaping my body and get the most out of lifting. I don't want to look like a competitor by any means. But I've gotten to the fun part focusing on muscle groups to look how I want to look. nasm nutritioncoach goldsgym girlswholift buffbunny buffbunny_collection legday
