I have written a travelguide about my uyuni saltflats (dry season) tour, I hope you will like it and have use for it. If you have any questions please ask. 🔹️Part 1 of 4
An important thing is to bring cash in dollars to pay for the tour. There is a few atm in the city but they are usually out of money ! I did not had enough in cash and tried every atm without getting a penny!😮 The travel agency, first claimed to not have a card machine but when they realised that I wouldn't be able too pay and they would lose a costumer, then it suddenly went well to pay with card.😁 So bring US Dollars 💲💲 I also need to mention the altitude sickness that is a real thing and you need to be prepared for this. Everyone feels ,it but how bad it hit you is different from person to person. Especially if you fly in directly to uyuni from low ground it will slap you in the face.
I was lucky and only feelt sick one night but I have heard some really scary stories from people that was affected much more.
Sorojchi pills / altitude pills can be bought everywhere in Bolivia and don't cost much so it's a cheap insurance.
