Stop with the petitions. Just stop. Take a break from the forums. It is what it is and for the most part it was pretty damn good! When people get too immersed in pop culture, claiming they've lost an entire decade of their lives, or editing out women from the latest Star Wars whilst picking up the pieces of their now shattered masculinity, then it has gone too far. I'm sure you signing a list will change their minds and re-make the show (very likely!) to your flawless specifics, making it so much better.
These people are insane.
Don't watch it. Move on. Create something of your own. But stop crying over something that, when you think of it, doesn't really matter and divert some of that outrage into stuff that do matter, like opposing misogynistic rightwing fascists trying to legislate women into obediance. Or something to that effect. But give the other stuff a little rest.
Our Music Director speaks:
When Roshan first spoke to me about AVNF, I was excited by the prospect of working with a bunch of people who really wanted to create something together. I used elements of free improvisation to compose the tracks so that the characters could use the resulting unpredictability to express themselves freely in key scenes. All the characters of AVNF have shadow worlds of their own, but even in their most dark moments, there is a -like quality, a naïveté in the way they operate. I have found that the lines between states of play and danger, innocence and evil are often blurry for , and I have toyed with those boundaries to create the music of AVNF.
