Those memories are like the little old ladies who live next to you and follow your every move. They stick their noses into your business like they're smelling a scented candle. They wont leave you alone and no amount of frustration or trying to push them away can get rid of them. They constantly nag, they never let you rest and if you're idle for more than a few moments you can feel them creeping up on you, breathing down your neck. I dont quite understand what happened to each passerby. Maybe they grew bored or maybe I grew scared. Maybe they were just what I needed for the amount of time i needed them and they were never meant to be anything more. But tragically enough, a mind knows no distinguishment between forgetting temporary and remembering permanence. For a while though I felt like a ghost town. Visitors no longer strolled through on their way to other places and eventually all the residents pittered out to nothing. It felt like a scene in an old western with vacated and dusty porches and a tumble weed scurrying across the street. Only the wind howling in your ears and the dust like sandpaper to your eyes. part2 part2of3 part3ismuchbetter sincerelyme mlv poetry doesthismakesense probablynot ohwell writersofinstagram poetrycommunity poetryofinstagram

LETS TALK ABOUT CODEPENDENCY: My good sis. Codependency can be defined as . characterized by excessive emotional or psychological reliance on a partner. I think I’m all of my relationships I’ve developed this sort of attachment to them. However, I’m strong on my own. I had to learn that. I had to see past the roses and trashed love poems and understand that my relationships were toxic and I had shared blame in that. I decided one day that I was going to disconnect contact from every person I’ve ever dated. The door is still open but I will no longer be extending olive branches. It’s time for me to see the world on my own. poetry poems writing writingcommunity poetrycommunity writer celibate

When I saw her today after many years I felt I wish I would've told her. When we were singing, laughing and drinking together I wish I would've told her. When the life was beautiful and there were no limits I wish I would've told her. I never knew that this time will take everything with itself And I'll never get to see her I wish I would've told her That I love her. writing poetry writersofinstagram love quotes poem poet poems art poetrycommunity poetsofinstagram words quote life writersofig quoteoftheday wordporn writingcommunity writers writerscommunity lovequotes inspiration follow instagood photography like motivation bhfyp fromheartopaper

I read this in September, it broke my heart. I’ve always known that scientists and doctors performed medical experiments on Black people, and I knew that most of the time it was without knowledge. But to read this book and see how bad it truly was for Henrietta Lacks and others, truly breaks my heart. This book shed light on the lengths that people were willing/are still willing to go, in order to exploit people of color. It was a powerful read, and I think everyone, not just people of color, should read this heartbreaking story.

“You did not fondle the weakness inside you though it was there. Your courage was a small coal that you kept swallowing.” :Courage by Anne Sexton This poem has been a favourite of mine for quite some time. Her word flow is absolutely beautiful

✨i am absolutely elated to announce that I am currently working on organizing and orchestrating my next poetry novel! i've been piecing together different writings and ideas for several months and everything is starting to come together perfectly; even better than the last time. I took this semester to take a creative writing course with one of my mentors, and she has really helped me to adopt new techniques, new genres, and improve my overall writing skill. I still have so much more to learn, but the rumors are true, i am definitely working on not just a book, but something even greater than I can't speak on yet. - 🌻 i really am working towards being the best artist that i can be, and i hope that my work has or will touch your heart in some way.💛 - 👉🏽📚 if you haven't gotten a change to snag your copy of 'Gold Mouth', click the link in my bio to get ahead of the game! www.hdenae.com/shop

🦋 There are ashes of me Left behind in the flames Of this love, Blown about in this fiery dance, Rising and falling, Succumbing to the intoxicating Smoke That lingers in your wake

This poem (poem fragment? It can’t decide) has been re-writing variations on itself in my head for more than a week now. It’s time for it to stop gumming up the works, so out it goes into the world—ready or not.

I found a new strength, and I’m humbled by it. I’ve learned that a lot of my dislike and hate came from being unappreciative to things which inspires me. Now i appreciate them without judgement, I may be a step ahead, but certainly right on time. Use these words, and make them your own. poetry love quotes sad art writersofinstagram lovequotes life quote instagood writer poem words quoteoftheday poet inspiration instagram motivation lifequotes poems poetsofinstagram writing poetrycommunity inspirationalquotes quotestoliveby

“If one day you see me fall, I promise you, I had a ball. Just be kind and walk around me. Give my name to the police, Close my eyes if I’m deceased, Kiss the cheek of those that found me.” “Big” by OPPENHEIMER (Link in bio 🖤)

1 out of every 6 American women has been the victim of an attempted or completed rape in her lifetime. Every 98 seconds an American is sexually assaulted. Rape is the most under reported crime. Don’t you think it’s time you ask yourself why?

Through a lot of pain, tears, and triumphs I’m feeling ready to share my journey. Thank you to everyone who has supported me through the hardest times of my life. Please feel free to share.

Aage gile raith ko farak padta nahi, sab kuch ho , phir bhi bolenge kuch mila nahi The wet sand nearer to the sea doesn't care about the freshness; at times, people do not realize the value of what they possess The untouched sand particles are people in deprivation of anything valuable, and often expect miracles to happen. Its just the uncertainty of life which makes them cling to their hopes, like the dry sand hopes for the tsunami to come, no matter what the consequences be, to stop the thirst🖤 writersofinstagram write quotes lovequotes love writing writerscommunity writeaway urdu urduquotes instafollow shayari writer amateurwriter writersofig writings poetry poetrycommunity poem hindipoetry emotions
