🌞AM VS. PM🌚 .
Each have their own benefits.
Morning: working out in the morning allows you to ‘seize’ the day. You can get your workout out of the way, allowing you to focus your energy on other accomplishments for the remainder of the day. I sometimes like to do fasted HIIT (high intensity internal training) cardio in the morning - which is great to target burning fat. If you feel that you don’t have the appropriate energy, I’d recommend having a light snack (ex. Banana) and a coffee or preworkout! Caffeine stimulates energy, focus, and thermogenesis, so you’ll be good to burn some calories 💪🏼. Note: cardio can always be followed by weights to get the metabolism going. -
Evening: great for any type of exercise. Again, caffeine will help you get the energy/motivation you need, in case you’re feeling tired by the end of the day. Note: try to avoid excessive amounts of caffeine after 5-6 pm, especially if you’re caffeine sensitive, to avoid a restless night!
Regardless of AM or PM, goal is to get a workout in. Remember to hit each muscle group at least once a week! 💪🏼 -
