When it comes to Glute Ham Raises (GHR), Nordic Curls or any other movements where we’re really eccentrically loading the hamstrings for them THICCC thighs, we need to focus on 2 major things✌🏼🍑 • Number One is maintaining hip extension, flexing those glutes hard & locking that pelvis in a rigid position. • Numero Twoneo is core compression. Keep those ribs down to your pelvis and brace, not only through your abs, but your obliques & spinal erectors(low back). • Making sure you’re nailing these & you’ll only be loading the hams & ensuring you’ll be growing those thic thighs with all the “C”s. Meet Leigh! Leigh has competed in Para Powerlifting at an international level for 9 years, including the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games. Leigh is one of our most loyal and genuine clients and we’ve had the pleasure of treating his injuries throughout his sporting career. Leigh was born with a spinal tumour surrounded by congenital fusion leaving him disabled. Unfortunately, the time has come where Leigh must have the tumour removed from his spine, which comes with a 50% chance of complete lower limb paralysis. Thankfully, Dr Mathew Scott- has taken the challenge of operating on Leigh’s lumbar spine. The operation has come at a substantial cost leaving Leigh out of pocket by $21K. We’ve teamed up with Zero Weakness, Leigh’s stomping ground, to raise money for his operation. We will be conducting physical assessments for $10 at Zerow’s ‘BENCH REPS FOR LEIGH’ competition on April 13th, with 100% of the money going towards Leigh’s operation.
