Awesome work from natsjourneytohealthy here! a couple weeks ago we re-did the 1rep max (1RM) testing at the end of her strength program and the results have been sweet! The only bummer has been that natalie injured her ankle 2 weeks before the testing so doing squats and deadlifts were out of the question, but that doesnt mean we can not still test her upper body strength Bench press: 40kg 45kg Shoulder Press: 27.5kg 32.5kg Seated Row: 65kg 65kg Lat Pull Down: 60kg 60kg Although her Row and Lat pull down did not go up, her ability to lift these weights has improved a lot and becoming much easier. Improvement does not have to mean the numbers go up, sometimes being able to do your 1rm easier is improvement as well But her bench and shoulder press have gone up dramatically (10%+ and almost 20%) which have been sticking points for her for a while now. Ealier on, we made an extra effort to work on her shoulder stability and rotating her upper push and pull days during our sessions to get a more balanced amount throughout the week Absolutely proud of natalie and how she performed then, even with her ankle injury she perservered!

You often approach your fitness goals backwards. You start out with your method of exercise and hope it can get you to your goal, rather than working in the most effective manner to accomplish your goals This is a common mistake that I often see with various populations Let's take the athlete more specifically the football player. They will often run full 400 meter laps to work on their "conditioning" however in the game of football most plays last under 30 seconds and most players run less then 10 yards, yes some receivers/ tightends will run 40 yard go routes and on occasion a running back can break free for a long rush maybe even the entire field of a 100 yards. So why do they run 4 times the total distance of the entire field? To help them condition? . The answer is it is what football players do. Instead they should be doing repetitive full out shuffle runs totalling 20 yards which translates better to play or even 10 yard sprints with 30 seconds in between reps But all that is but 1 example. Do we start by thinking I want to get in shape so I will exercise. That lovely sentence that is often uttered has to undefined pronouns how does one work with the other. Instead say I want to lose weight and decrease body fat so I will do interval circuit training with weights. Do you see the difference. In one sentence there is no clear picture in the other you have a plan. That plan is the most effective way to accomplish that goal I'm going to get back on IGTV and start a series breaking down the most effective way to accomplish different specific goals. I’ve been doing CrossFit for almost 6 years and double unders are still something I need extra work on. mollorama gave us a ton of great tips, cues, and exercises to help us with timing, efficiency, and consistency. 1ª Turma Criminal do Tribunal de Justiça do Distrito Federal e dos Territórios (TJDFT) acatou a denúncia por peculato contra a deputada federal ErikaKokay ( PT) e o ex-chefe de gabinete da parlamentar Alair José Martins Vargas. Segundo a denúncia da Procuradoria-Geral da República (PGR), o caso teria ocorrido entre dezembro de 2006 e outubro de 2007. O processo envolve uma ex-servidora, Vânia Gomes. Em depoimento, Vânia afirmou que o chefe de gabinete da deputada, na época quando Erika ainda era distrital, a convidou para ocupar nova função, com acréscimo salarial. A ressalva era que Vânia deveria “devolver” parte do salário que excedesse o recebido. À época, a quebra do sigilo bancário teria confirmado repasses de ao menos R$ 13 mil da assessora para a conta de Erika Kokay. O processo corria no Supremo Tribunal Federal (STF), que em maio de 2018 remeteu o caso para a primeira instância, logo após a restrição do foro privilegiado. A denúncia foi rejeitada pela 7ª Vara Criminal. Mas, após contestação do Ministério Público do Distrito Federal e Territórios (MPDFT), a 1ª Turma Criminal do TJDFT deu provimento ao recurso. Outro lado Por meio de nota, a deputada afirmou que a acusação é infundada. “Não tenho dúvida de que será uma oportunidade ímpar de provar definitivamente a minha inocência”, disse.
