👗Same Dress, Stronger Me👗💪🏼👊🏼😊
Given that 2019 has been my fourth year consistently training and we are halfway through this year, I wanted to spend some time reflecting on my fitness journey and how far I’ve come.
2️⃣0️⃣1️⃣4️⃣: Although I didn’t start weight training until January 2016, this is one of the few before pictures I could find. 🥴😅 I was 21 years old and roughly 90-95 lbs. During this time and leading up to weight training, I always did 30-60 minutes of cardio a couple times a week at the gym and that was it. 🏃🏻♀️ I never touched a weight or any strength machine. I also ate a lot of junk food. 🍔🍕🍿🍬🍭 I knew I wanted to become stronger physically and in the gym but like many, I didn’t know how. 🤷🏻♀️🙇🏻♀️
2️⃣0️⃣1️⃣9️⃣Years later, I can confidently say I’m proud of everything I’ve learned over the past four years when it comes to both fitness and nutrition. 🏋🏻♀️🍎 I became an avid weight lifter, a certified personal trainer, a human nutrition graduate, and more.👩🏻🎓 The learning process never stops. The more experienced you become the more you realize that fitness is a journey, not a destination, one that you continue for the rest of your life. 🌅Adapt to a lifestyle that is realistic for you, one that you can continue with for the long haul. And of course, don’t forget to take progress pictures along the way. 🤗📸
. Happy Saturday ☀️ .
