I used to be all like “Maybe I’ll only have it Monday through Friday” or “I’ll just do half scoops” to stretch it beyond a month. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Now I feel like I always need extra scoops available for upset stomachs, hangovers, an emergency chocolate stash, a post-run snack, an impulsive living room re-org I regret wasting my money on shakes, vitamins, and other supplements that weren’t this.

Last night I really wanted a chip butty. Don't know why, but the thought of salty chips on bread and butter was all that I really wanted for dinner. Sooo tonight I ran for chips! This weeks long run was 16 miles and and half way to through my training for the Maine Coast Marathon Today was an achievement as my longest run EVER, and I am 10.2 miles away from running 26.2 miles Last week, my long run was tough. This week, it was amazing. I felt wonderful most of the time, there was a beautiful moon rising, and Spring is officially here! In the past, I have always become injured at some point. Im really hoping that I make it through my training without any injury, and I am attributing the fact that I have made it this far to some conscious decisions I have made: -Following a strict strengthening program made by a world class personal trainer that focuses on strengthening my core and hips, which are generally weak in women and contribute to most running injuries. -Practicing yoga AT LEAST once to twice a week, I am so grateful that the on demand library I subscribe to has so many options including a handy “yoga for runners” video I can stream to my home -Nourishing my body with balanced macronutrients, whole foods, and a superfoods shake. The lack of processed foods and decreased sugar are helpful in decreasing inflammation in your body. I have honestly never felt stronger, more energetic, and healthier in general and I have ALWAYs worked out. -Practicing self care by visiting the chiropractor monthly to keep my underlying sciatica at bay. She has helped me SO much, from barely being able to walk at one point to resuming the active lifestyle I love. Feeling good and making your body perform optimally is so worth it! It may be hard at first but it becomes routine and you will NEVER want to go back- I challenge you. The nutrition plan I follow was developed by top nutritionists and I can teach it to you. Im not a nutritionist, but I have lived this for 5 years and now I am certified in it, and I know it inside and out. These workout programs were developed by world class trainers for whole body training. You can do all of it FROM HOME. Your goal does not need to be a marathon, I certainly didn’t start with that goal. it can be losing 10 lb, doing 10 pushups, lowering your blood pressure. Give me a few weeks and see what happens

Chocolate Matcha energy balls. I've made this recipe 5 times in last couple months. SO yumm and energizing Great before workout run or just trying to perk up for your next task AND helpful in avoiding grazing on everything in the fridge when the hanger hits. I've been running at night so finding the energy after a day with the boys sometimes is non existent. The balls are: coconut + dates + pumpkin seeds ( I used sunflower today) + coconut oil & Green matcha and the coating is: unsweetened cocoa powder + Maple syrup + coconut oil. Doooo it. Keep them in the freezer and take it out to thaw for 10 minutes before munching! Navy Bean Tostadas. Great for fueling a couple hours before a run - light, but with enough taste and substance to hold you up. Recipe: blend 1 1/2 cup of navy beans (reserve 1/2 cup for topping) with 1 tbsp tahini, 1tbsp olive oil, 1/2 garlic clove, juice of half lemon, 1/4 tsp chipotle powder and salt. N.U.T.E.L.L.A Stuffed Doughnut from the Pudding Stop 📍 Tonnes of Nutella filling and a soft doughnut texture 🍩 • • • First Track Session last night 🏃‍♀️ Before this I’ve mostly done cross country and longer distances but this year I’m trying to create some new goals (even if this one did slightly scare me 🙈) We did 800 m warm up followed by 3 x 400m , 3 x 800m, 3 x 400m and 800 m warm down 👊 I absolutely loved it (despite the fact it’s slightly sore to go up stairs 🤨🤪) So pleased I stepped right out of my comfort zone and gave it a go ☺️ Hope to gradually build up even more speed over time too 💪 Let’s gooooooo 🎉

I shared these Seedy Choc Bars on my stories this weekend and lots of you have asked for the recipe, and, you lucky ducks, I actually wrote it down 😮💁🏻‍♀️ So if yer in the market for something really tasty, filling, nourishing and simple to make recipe below!please report back if you give them a go 🤗 vegan glutenfree free nutfree -1/2 cup tahini -1/3 cup days syrup (honey would work too) -2 tbsp coconut oil -1/2 cup ground flax -1/2 cup unsweetened coconut flakes -3/4 cup pumpkin seeds -3/4 cup sunflower seeds -1/2 cup quinoa (uncooked!) -1/4 cup chia seeds -1/4 cup dark choc chips Melt tahini, date syrup, and coconut oil together in the microwave or on the stove. Add all the dry ingredients (not the chocolate!), and mix until combined. Press into a rectangle shape on a non stick surface. Melt chocolate in microwave in 30 sec increments (stirring between each increment) until they’re melted. Spread the choc on top and allow them to set in the fridge for at least an hour before slicing into bars.

3 Stunden laufen nach Gefühl Es war ein wunderschönes Gefühl Und ich hab die Sonne ☀️ gesehen. Natürlich kam der Wind 💨 immer von vorne, egal wo lang ich gelaufen bin. Been dying to make something fun all week just couldn’t decide WHAT. Finally decided I just had to try rachlmansfield raw carrot cake bars. I love love carrot cake and these were so fun to make and so yummy. Waiting for these to freeze for a couple hours was practically torture. They’re messy & fun and so yummy idk how long they’ll last in our house. I let my mom taste them before I told her what was in them and she goes “wait, this is healthy for me?” Yes ma’am 😜 happy happy Friday Chickadees ✨🥂
