Sometimes I run fasted. Sometimes I don’t. Sometimes I plan a long run. Mostly I don’t. Sometimes I bring run fuel. Mostly I don’t. - Today though? Today the sun is shining and it's a perfect day for a mid-run picnic of one in the country. Ah yasss queen. Just me and my energy balls. They don’t call this Sunday Funday for nothing folks. ————— Recipe ⬇️ - Use equal parts dates and nuts of choice (I used cashews and almonds) and using a food processor fitted with an “S” blade process until a sticky, uniform batter forms. To test it just pinch a bit between your fingers and it should stick together. - When the batter is ready, roll that delicious mess into a bunch of balls whatever size you like. No judgement here - what kind of balls you like is your prerogative. Roll in hemp seeds (or coconut is awesome, too) to make them look fancy AF. I store mine in the freezer for quick and easy snack noms.

Ich hab mir so gedacht, gestern Abend, weil es ja so gut lief, ich probiere es einfach. Nur mal so. Ohne Zeit und ohne Druck. Solange ich lächle laufe ich. Und sollte es mir auch nur für einen Moment schlecht gehen, fahre ich sofort nach Hause. Und es war so toll 😊 das Wetter, die Strecke, der Körper. Ich habe gut Luft bekommen. Der Knoten hat zur keiner Zeit weh getan. Und auch wenn mich jetzt einige für bekloppt halten. Ich hab das gebraucht. Für mich und meine Seele. Jetzt lege ich die Füße etwas hoch und heute Nachmittag geht es noch ins Kino. Habt einen wundervollen Sonntag. Probiert euch aus, meist schafft man mehr, als man sich selbst zutraut. Wenn ich nicht mehr schlafen kann und der Himmel so perfekt ist, dann ab in die Schuhe und raus. Selbst die OÄ im KKH hat es empfohlen, nein , sogar gefordert, damit die OP leichter wird. I love veggie burgers & I always have, since getting them (accidentally) in high school. So when I decided to go plant based in Nov 2017 I started looking for frozen veggie burgers to make at home. This is currently my favourite breakfast for this weather - simple muesli with unsweetened soya milk. This is just the cheapest muesli I could find - it didn’t have any added sugar or much fruit so I added extra sultanas. This portion provides 494kcal, 19g protein, 80g carbs, 9g fat. Ich Rebell bin heute die Runde andersrum gelaufen. Und große Erleichterung macht sich breit. Wie es aussieht ist der Knoten gutartig. Zeigen wird es sich nach der Biopsie aber die Chancen stehen gut 😊 Heute hab ich Termin im KKH zur OP Besprechung und bekomme auch den Termin dafür . Bis dahin heißt es, viel Sauerstoff in den Körper pumpen. Ich soll so weiterlaufen damit ich die Vollnarkose überstehe, da ich aufgrund meines Herzfehlers Probleme damit habe. Daher geh ich auch in ein KKH das mich schon kennt und wo ich schon mal Operiert wurde. Und den Rest des Tages werde ich, wie von meines Schwester Jenny empfohlen, Vitamin D tanken. D I N N E R ~ Yesterday’s dinner was 👍🏼, but let’s talk lunch. While I try to post most of the meals I make (and the miles I run) on here, I’m sure it’s no surprise that half of it never makes the gram. Lunch is a repeat offender, since I’m usually eating leftovers out of my neon green tupperware not a great look Early in the week, I cook extra dinner portions of grains, beans, etc. that reheat well and do not stink up the office (ugh I hate when people do that). This week I made red pepper quinoa (originally served as a side dish with salmon) and a peanut soba salad (last night’s dinner, pictured here). Past favorites include roasted vegetable pasta salad (always with quinoa fusilli), tofu stir fry, stuffed peppers (fun to try new fillings), and soup. Meal prep has never been my jam, but cooking double batches of things I’m already making fits well into my busy schedule. My delightfully bright and delicious start to the daya Rad Raspberry Beet Smoothie Bowl. I don’t really care for beets, but the flavor is hardly noticeable. And doesn’t it look so pretty? ⁣ 🥝⁣ 🥥⁣ When i first began running, I didn’t pay much regard to fueling my body properly. It wasn’t until after a particularly difficult short run on which I had to stop midway that it was brought to my attention. My MIL was following me through the GPS tracker on Runtastic and knew I had stopped and called to check on me and make sure I was OK. It was then that she spoke these words—You need to eat better if you’re going to keep doing this. She knew my appetite and nutrition were lacking from stress and distress. Those words started me on a quest to fuel properly for running. ⁣ 🥝⁣ 🥥⁣ What delicious fuel did you have for breakfast this morning?

Frustlauf Sondersgleichen. Ich war gestern beim Hausarzt, weil es mir sehr schlecht ging. Als Antwort bekam ich, ich soll mich nicht so haben, und wenn ich Angst habe, geht es mir automatisch schlechter. Und ich soll mir doch die Ergebnisse der Untersuchung selbst einholen. Gesagt, getan. Hab da vorhin angerufen. Die Ergebnisse sind schon am 20. raus und ich bekomme keine Auskunft Entschuldigung, das ist mein Leben Ich hoffe dann doch, etwas später Auskunft zu bekommen. Da meine Hausärztin ab Freitag im Urlaub ist , und morgen, wenn sie Sprechzeiten hat bin ich arbeiten. Und das Berliner Wetter ist heute wie meine Stimmung. Aber, wenn alles gut geht, werde ich den Berlin Marathon laufen 🏃🏼‍♀️. Also Daumen drücken. Für einfach alles. Sorry, das musste jetzt mal raus. Der letzte Lauf vor dem Vivawest-HM ist gelaufen. Da wir nächste Woche unseren 1. eigenen Stadtlauf (siehe unten) haben, wollte ich mir eh nochmal die Organisation eines Laufs genauer anschauen. Dann kann ich auch direkt dort mitlaufen. Statt 10k aber heute nur 5k wegen Sonntag. Und die wollte ich eigentlich ganz ruhig weg laufen. Aber mach das mal bei einem Rennen 😳Geht gar nicht. Somit habe ich doch glatt den 2. Platz in meiner AK gemacht! 🎉🎉 Wird bei "nur" 5k aber ja nicht erwähnt🙄🙄🙄 nur bei den 10k bekommen die AK-Sieger Präsente. Warum eigentlich? 🤔 Dennoch hat es durchaus Vorteile, mal nur 5k zu laufen: Platz in der Umkleide, warmes Wasser in der Dusche Und volle Auswahl am Buffet 🥰! Ansonsten war die Strecke langweilig. Hier und da mal die Feuerwehr, sonst nur Wiesen und Äcker😏!
